Fantasy in the Sky? Gone Forever?

I was just wondering, do any of you think Disney will bring FITS back for special ocassions or is it dead? I didnt like it all that much but it would be cool to see on special ocassions, maybe even unannounced, directly after Wishes on random nights.

I thought someone said that they did a special version of Fantasy in the sky fireworks during MNSSHP. It was a different show than Wishes. It was an awesome show during MNSSHP. Fireworks all around the park! Cool!

I know for sure that FITS will be running New Year's Eve.... Wishes requires
that a good part of Fantasyland be cleared before the show -can you imagine
trying to do that on the BUSIEST night of the year?????

Last NYE, the show was "mirrored" -you got the usual firing location behind the
castle, and a mirror show somewhere behind Town Square... so's if you were standing
on main street, you had fireworks both infront and behind you... Super cool!!!

Actually for NYE MK does BOTH... Wishes is the earlier fireworks presentation and FITS is the midnight presentation. They always do 2 shows on NYE one for the kids so they can see fireworks at a resonable hour and then the actual midnight fireworks. FITS can be loaded faster than Wishes, so they load Wishes early in the day and do Wishes for the first show and then reload FITS for the second.

Yes also MNSSHP is FITS with a Halloween ending. These are the only times of the year that FITS is run at MK (unless it is a special event and they ask for it).
