Fantasy February 16, 2013 - 7 Night Western Cruise Meet

Last time I did do that. I really needed some time away from them so I told them they were going to the club, I would pick them up in two hours and they better not have me called unless someone was bleeding. Worked pretty well!

This year though DD11 will be able to roam the ship with her wave phone and it will be harder to get DD8 to go alone. She doesn't make friends very easily. Knowing the stress it will cause her ( as it would have me at that age) makes it a little harder to say too bad.

Of course I probably will!

I was extermely shy as a child too; so I understand - maybe she will hook up with another kid her age - did you check the FE list - also DD11 can go into the Lab w/ DD8 sometimes, check with the counslers and of course DD11. Remember above all this is a Vacation - so no worries!!

My DD will be with us on this cruise, she is 9. She tends to be a little shy, but opens up after a little while. Maybe we can get them to all hang out in the kids club together. We can meet when we board the ship and introduce them to each other.

I have not gotten around to checking out the Facebook pages yet, thanks for the reminder! It sounds like they will not have to be lonely at the kids club!

Unfortunately, I have to drop out of the FE. Our friends have decided not to participate. I can't even begin to imagine how upset their children would be to constantly see my kids get gifts when they get nothing. It will just be better all around if we don't do it.
