I paid the cruise off today hoping to snag a cabana at serenity bay,but no luck. Fingers crossed one will become available.

Oooops I took the last one. Dh has Parkinson's and 2 years ago it was real tough on him trying to find any shade or a cool down spot.
I hope one comes available for you too. Good luck

Hi all-
Getting excited and finding myself online all the time now searching for information about our sailing! This will be our 2nd Disney cruise for myself, my DH and DS who will be almost 5 at the time of the sailing. We are thinking about joining in on the FE fun this time. May I ask who is collecting the info? I have seen a correspondence between/to a couple of folks and just want to make sure I get it to the correct person. Thanks!

Hi Everyone! It's been a while since I've been on. DH and I are getting so excited, and can't wait to take care of some of our bookings tonight. I've also just sent a request to join the FB group as I don't have a lot of time for touring through DIS lately.

I have told my daughter that I am thinking about taking a DCL trip Next year with him and she is excited but has NO idea that it is booked and we are going! I am so excied that can't even sit still!

I was on the AFT on the Dream on Deck 9. I had no issues with it. Its why we picked AFT again for this cruise.

anyone going on the Mountain Top Downhill Rainforest Trek? I can't decide if we should do this or French Riviera Beach Rendezvous.

I really can't make my mind up on excursions for St Maartin any ideas?

Just found this thread.

We signed up for this cruise last October. First cruise for us, me, DW, DD (4).

Both set's of grandparents are booked on the cruise as well. We'll be celebrating our anniversary, and MIL b-day will be during the week of the cruise.

Come on in and share your plans! Also make sure to check out our FB page, it's easier to update there and lots of planning info being shared over there...if you don't do FB..I'm sure many of your questions can be answered here!! Welcome and for first time cruisers...you will LOVE it!

For St. Maarten, we are planning on renting a jeep for the day, may change our mind if I can find cheap transportation around the island for five...by the time I figured costs for taxi and such it was well over the fee for the Jeep...but then I read horror stories with certain rental companies charging your card for 'damages' that did not occur...I feel good about the company I rented through (reserved really, he would take no card until we show up, so that is hopeful) but still..it could ruin a trip to deal with auto issues. But, our plan is to hit 2-3 beaches across the island, hit downtown area of St Maarten, a friend says there is a lady (on the Dutch side) who makes the best chocolates and is a must stop...then we'll go to Maho Beach to rent some chairs and watch the planes come in....that's our plan. Also, a tip, instead of the one restaurant at Maho (trying to save$$) there is supposedly a grocery store with the best grilled chicken sandwiches right across the street...think we'll go there I think we'll save our snorkeling gear for St. John and not run the risk of it getting stolen...another warning I hear about the island..do not leave things laying around HTH!!

Well, none of us does Facebook. I didn't say that I'm 49, DW (44), and the Grandparents don't do it as well, so we'll have to rely on this forum for information.

We are trying to decide on shore excursions, but are having difficulty in deciding. We'd like to do some things together as a couple, but don't want to have the Grandparents feel like they are going to be baby sitters either. That being said, we'd like to do family things as well.
