Hi there! I'm new to DIS.. and to Disney altogether. We recently booked our first cruise (and first Disney exposure) - we will be joining all of you on this cruise. SO. EXCITED!!!!

It's just me, hubby and our 2 1/2 year old son. We are looking forward to it... less than a month now! Yay!

So we're really late in joining this thread. I was looking for information on how to decorate our door and make an FE when I read that usually FE gifts are arranged in groups. Oops. I guess I was thinking people would just randomly leave things at other cabins, so I will get on the official list.

This is our first Disney cruise (but have been on Princess, RCCL, Carnival, MSC (ugh), and Renissance (defunct)) and our first cruise as parents. Our little guy just turned one so I'm hoping there will be enough on board to keep him happy and we'll be happy turning in at 8:30 each night, LOL.

I will also get to work reading the rest of the 29 pages of posts before this so I can keep up

2.5 weeks to go, I better start on some magnets...

I am new to this site and this will be our first Disney Cruise! We are so excited. We have been annual Disney passholders since our son was a toddler, and Disney holds so many memories for us. Doing research for our upcoming cruise, I started to find all kinds of information for things like decorating doors, fish extenders, etc. I am amazed at the "little extras." I do have a question about the pirate night though - Who actually dresses up in costume? And, can you wear jeans to the dining room on that night? I appreciate your answers. I look forward to sailing with you!

We do dress for priate night... done a few cruises with Disney
Alot of people wear jeans for priate night as part of a costume. I wear them the last night, cause I wear them on the flight home.

Hello everybody! Just booked this cruise a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't figure out why there was no roll call to speak of over on cruise critic and now I know why: you're all over here!

Super pumped about the trip. Hubby and I will be traveling solo...we officially became empty nesters this summer so what better reason to act like kids again!

The only downsides to last minute are that I couldn't get one of my favorite aft cabins at very back of ship and ALL the specialty dining is sold out for advance booking. We also can't check in until 1:30 so we may be out of luck for on board booking too. Ah well...I think that's what they call 1st world problems right??

I'm over on the Facebook group now too and am happy to see some fellow Canucks...Tasha and Tom I think we're next door neighbours!
