We caught the 5pm B&tB show today. It was clever, funny, and we'll worth our time. I thought it would be good for just the girls but it was great for the whole family. I highly recommend this one for anybody. And the apple twist at Maurice's Treats - yummy.

I never saw that one but thought the Tangled one was hilarious! I hope to catch both when I'm back next year. It sounds from your other posts that you're having a great trip, hope those winds calmed down and you got to see the fireworks- I know I was disappointed when they were cancelled on one of my trips.

I've seen the Rapunzel show at least 3 times lol - didn't mean to, just happened! And everything at Maurice's Treats is delish!

We all LOVED the Tangled show last time. So much funnier than we expected. So good to hear that the other one is good too. We'll try and catch the B&B one when we are there in TWO weeks (eek!).

We just went to the Tangled show for the first time this weekend, we were looking for "sitting down" things after the half. :) DH was not too thrilled when he found out it was Rapunzel but we both loved it. So cute! Definitely want to see the Beauty one next time.

I am planning an afternoon show for each day we are there. I had originally only thought of doing the Tangled one but now I thing I better add the beauty one to the list.

Some sitting and watching time in the afternoons will hopefully give the kiddos some time to regroup each day. We are past the ages of naps but not past needing to calm down and relax a little especially when everything can be so overstimulating.

Totally agree, great show! We saw the Tangled one, and it was unexpectedly hilarious! As a theatre geek, I particularly loved it!! Hoping to catch B&tB on our next trip!

We saw both Tangled an B&B on our trip in September. While both were great for some reason I liked the B&B one the best but the kids liked Tangled. If you hang after the show to the right of the stage sometimes they come back out to do a quick meet and greet.

WOAH WHAT? Hold on. I havent been to Disneyland in a few years so I havent seen the new Princess Fantasy Fair land beside the castle yet. Are you telling me they have new shows there? Or are these shows held at the old Princess Fantasty Fair theater up by Toon Town?

New Theater! Where the Carnation Garden used to be that the swing dancers used on Saturday nights. The old Princess Fantasy Fair by Toon Town is now home to Mickey and the Magical Map, which is another new show that is also totally worth seeing.

The shows are in a little open air theatre to the left of the castle (if you are facing it), where the new Fantasy Faire Land is. Definitely worth catching these shows! I think the show times are posted right outside the theatre.

That area opened the day after our last trip so we haven't seen it either. Do families with only older kids or only adults go to these shows? Our next trip is just DH and I and on a future family trip our youngest will be 12 or 13. Would we feel out of place going to one of these shows?

You definitely won't feel out of place. All the little kids go sit on the floor right in front of the stage while the parents sit on the benches in back. I did a solo trip earlier this year and didn't feel out of place at all! The shows are really cute with a lot of humor for all ages!

*Squeals* OH MY GOSH!!!! Your kidding? Ok this upcoming trip just got more exciting. I know the theater area you are talking about too. I wont miss these shows including Mickey and the magical map at the old Fantasy Fair location. The last time I was at Disney both the old Fantasy Fair Location and the new Fair location were both under construction. It will be great to see something brand new.

Not well known tip.... After the first two morning or afternoon shows the main characters (Rapunzel/Flynn or Belle)
come out and meet with the few people who wait the 5 minutes after the show.
Not always, and the cast members will always give a disclaimer rather than confirm.

Thank you for that tip. I will jot that down as a reminder. My 2 favorite princesses and you can't beat that Flynn smoulder. :goodvibes

How early do you normally have to show up for these shows? Are they normally very crowded??
