Fantasy--evaluation of three "Tastings"

Loved the Mixology class. Hoping to try liquor and chocolate ... and maybe beer tasting.

DD and I did the 10 night Hawaii cruise a few weeks ago on the Wonder, and because DD is "legal" we thought it would be fun to sign up for some tastings. We were going to do just 2 but while signing up, the bartender Miroslav was so funny and engaging he got us to sign up for a 3rd because he was going to be leading the class.

We did:

Old World/New World Wine tasting: We both enjoyed this. Several different kinds of wine to try and a little history thrown in.

Mixology: This one was fun but dangerous! We mixed several different cocktails and it was interesting to try the various mixes. They pulled a few people out of the class to get behind the bar and do the mixing. This was funny at times. (as an aside, it kind of bugged me that I did not witness any of those passengers being asked to wash or sanitize their hands before getting behind the bar. perhaps I missed that…)

Mojito/Caipirinha: This was probably my personal favorite as I like mojitos. Bartender Miroslav did this class and Mixology and he is a scream! I think he made both classes extra fun.

Have you tried Grimmbergen?

Haven't. But looking it up I see it's one of the Abbey Beers. I tried Chimay Blue once and found it much too strong to really enjoy.

It's not strong (I don't like strong beer). It's a dark ale and it taste a bit like coffee and butterscotch.
