Fantasy/Dream rooms near AFT elevator.

Hi All. I'm looking for information on the staterooms on the Dream/Fantasy that are very near the AFT elevators. These would be the rooms in the vicinity of 9152/9652, 8160/8662, 7166/7664 or 6160/6660. What has your experience been with the noise from people coming and going from the elevator area? Would you book these rooms again if you had the choice? Thanks

We had an aft room that was right off the elevator lobby on the Fantasy. Never noticed any excessive noise, but that is a subjective thing. Yes, we'd book the same room again.

We stayed in 7162 on the Fantasy for a February 2014 Western Carribean Cruise.

We had absolutely no problem with foot traffic/noise on our trip. We have been on 5 Disney Cruises and prefer being close to the elevators.

In fact we booked 7164 for our next cruise.

Hi we stayed in Dream stateroom 10662 Aug 2013 right under the Cabana didn't hear a peep that would be alarming. Heck loved the fact I had steps to Cabana no waiting at all.

I wouldn't want to be on a floor where the mid-ship detective agency can be located. More foot traffic, usually kids. It's the unsupervised ones you have to worry about for nice.

Thanks for the reply's. It seems the foot traffic from the Mid Ship Detective Agency may be the only concern.

we had 7660 which was right by the elevators it was great (quite)

since the elevators are in sort of there own little hallway made things good too

its not stepping out your door and theres the elevator

I also picked this room myself--Ive been studying the post where someone was nice enough to put the room numbers on the out side of the ship

and that's how I picked it--I really liked the location and its was great
this was a balcony room--which also was great--

the cruise the yr before we had 8664 which we also liked but wanted a balcony for the next one so that's how we took 7660

both rooms were just wonderful!!! loved them both

also very easy going to AP and cabannas

We always get a room near the aft elevators. There is very rarely any noise at all. You will be close to Cabanas and the Drink Station, which is nice.

We have been very back aft 10162 on the Fantasy. Loved the location and not much traffic. However the noise from Cabanas was loud. We could here chairs being moved every morning around 5 or 6. We will never stay on deck 10 again.

We were on the 9th deck on the Dream at the Aft elevators and no noise at all. Loved being that close to the upper deck and Cabanas. We picked that area again for our next cruise.

We were in 6664 on the Fantasy and it was great! No problem at all with hallway noise, and very little traffic in the hallway. I thought it was a great location. It was very convenient to be aft.

We stayed on rooms by aft elevator deck 9 and 10. We were pleasantly surprised it was as quiet or quieter than our last few staterooms way aways in the forward area, and will likely book rooms in the aft again. It's a super ideal location because most traffic is mid and forward shaft and Cabanas is one or two flights of stairs away

We have stayed both next to the aft elevators and midship - I found near the elevators was actually quieter. The midship hallways are long and there are lots of little feet running by.

We were in Stateroom 9148 on the Fantasy a few weeks ago. It is just two staterooms forward of the aft elevator. I would not want to stay there again because there was a lot of noise from stairway traffic that then turned to go forward, and noise before / after both dinner seatings at the Detective Agency screens.

Normally we stay aft of the aft elevators and have experienced must less traffic and noise.
