Fantasy, December 6, 2014 - Who is going to fill this Big Ship? Step on up!

We have enough people now registered for 2 full mixology classes.

The Wait List has been started. Please feel free to continue to register. If we have enough people to form a 3rd class that would be fantastic.

Thanks, Maggie

Hello, my family and I are from Kentucky and will be cruising for the first time. We have been to Disney World a couple of times and the last time was in December. We loved the holiday experience! i have always been a little apprehensive about cruising but I thought if there is a cruise that I KNOW will be fun it is Disney. We are a family of four ( usually 5 but the 17 year old didn't want to go) myself ( 38) Wife (30ish

Anyone else taking a tour from Bernard's in St. Maarten? I'm nervous about the meet time (8:30 ast), and wanted to see if anyone else was meeting up for their tour. I already shared this on the not-to-be-mentioned social network. Thanks!

I just signed up for the cruise today. This will be my 14th Disney cruise, the second on the Fantasy. I have sailed the entire fleet. Sailing on Disney is my favorite form of vacation. Looking forward to the cruise and seeing all of you. This will be my first time to Puerto Rico.

Dose any one have detailed information on DCL Transfer from WDW Resorts to ship and then back to WDW. A search of the internet really doesn't have much information and what is there is years old. Even our travel agent at Mouse For Less is having a problem getting information on this. At this point it looks like you don't get any information until the night before the pick up. Do they pick up at all resorts? If not how do you get to the resort that they will pick up at? We are detailed planers and not knowing what will happen is driving us up the wall. Really would like to know more about this with up to date informationl.pirate:

going to Disney World prior to this cruise. We will be flying down from Ohio on thursday and staying at Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa! We will be doing the Christmas Party on Friday night as well!

Anyone else doing the Christmas Party on that Friday?

Have been missing in action on Dis Boards for some time now and was reviewing what everyone had to say.

Yes my wife and are also doing MVMCP on Friday and are also staying at Saratoga Springs Resorts. The new bridge to walk from the resort to Downtown Disney was open on our last trip in September. Actually we will be arriving on 3 December at SSR for some time at WDW before the cruise and doing Candlelight on Thursday.

We used shuttles twice before. Once from AKL and once from POFQ no issues. They had left info in our room as to where and when to meet to catch the shuttle. This time we are doing the cruise first so the shuttle is picking us up at the Hyatt. Great service.

After our cruise we r staying at POFQ for a week. Have reservations for TRex on Saturday night. My son has been a year talking about that place so we r excited. Plan on spending a couple of evenings there at DD. We grab the boat from POFQ such a nice touch!

Thanks for the reply. Did you get transfer right from your resort to DCL or did you have to go to another resort to get the transfer to DCL. We have heard that they do not pick up at all resorts and were wondering on how you get to where they pick up at. This was the thing that concernd us. If they now pick up at all Resorts then it would be just like using ME for arrival and departure.

Sorry. Not sure if they've to all. Can only confirm POFQ & AKL.

P.S. WE ARE...PENN STATE! Any other alumni on board yet?

We ARE...Penn STATE...Not MAIN...So ASHAMED - Not!

Sorry, couple guys at work here are also Penn State Alum and one in particular strongly feels that if you didn't go to Main Campus you're not a "real" Penn Stater. (However my tuition bills begged to differ ;) ) So that's my little ditty to preempt the "Where?" question that usually follows with the only answer anyone generally cares about - Main or not :)

Can't believe we're only a month away now, this year flew by. Glad to see more people joining in the fun. Everyone, fingers crossed the polar vortex holds off and we get nice warm weather for the trip!

My hubby started at a campus near Philadelphia. I started at University Park because I grew up there. Our degrees say the same thing yours does...PENN STATE! We don't have any main campus issues. Sorry you work with a lousy Lion who does. Bring a Penn State shirt and wear it on our first day at sea...we'll wear ours and look for you. :woohoo:

I have been figuring out how to sign up for a fish extender group all day. Have you figured this out? lol. I am interested in signing up for a kids only exchange.

:cool1:
We are a Family of 5 from California! :) We are wondering where we sign up to be a part of Fish Extenders... does anyone know?

Can anybody do my family a favor? We as a family pick one a Christmas ornament a year to commemorate the year. We buy one for the family and then one for each kid so when they start a family they will have ornaments as well for their first tree. We had picked the resin disney fantasy ship ornament with the aqua duck that retails for 15$ on disney store however they sold out. Found some in eBay and after I clicked buy they sold out, found some online and called the shop and said somebody just bought the last ones. I know it is a long shot but would somebody be willing to buy 4 of these ornaments, one for our family and then one for each of our kids? I would be happy to reimburse you the trouble, costs and shipping. My wife said she remembers they had some on the ship. Thanks for even considering.

Robert and Corinne here. We're going to be in M2015. We have a 16 yr old son and an 8 yr old daughter (who is very outgoing - you will most likely meet her at some point, yes she's that social). It looks like we're too late for the FE, but if we're not, please let us know. Please if you could make an allowance for our not being able to find this thread for some odd reason we would be so incredibly happy! :)

Anyway, this is our first Disney Cruise and our first Cruise as a family. My wife and I have been on one other Cruise before by ourselves. We currently live in Charleston, SC, but neither of us is from here and we won't be staying here either. My wife is from the Bay Area and LA. I'm from Maryland. We'd really like to talk to some Portland, OR folks if there are any on this cruise.

Our kiddos are homeschooled/unschooled. Anyway, if you know what unschooling means, please find us and talk to us as we would love to chat. :) Even if you don't, we like to educate folks as well. :) Hope to catch up with someone from this thread. I also joined the Facebook group. My user is Robert Gottlieb.
