As someone who has sailed concierge several times, the one tip I can give those booking these high priced cabins. I wish I had found out earlier!
I book on opening day with DCL to get the cabin I want, and tell them to put it on hold. I email them a transfer form and name Costco as the TA.
You can also do this if you book on the DCL website, you have 30 days to transfer the reservation.
Or you can use the Costco website as well. The price is all the same, the website is a little behind in pricing and you wont see the correct price until the end.
The reason is simple. The price you pay for these rooms demands a bigger incentive. The most I ever got from a TA was $300 as an onboard credit.
Costco gives you a Costco cash card when you get home worth 8.5% of your cruise cost!
Our Cruise in May we get a $1045 cash card!
