Well this has been a crazy week. As you guys know, last August I decided to open my own practice. Well out of the blue, two different firms made me job offers this past week. One came from a firm that I do a lot of contract work for, and I already get along great with all the attorneys there. So, long story short, when I come back from the cruise it will be to a new job with a defense firm in Dallas.

Ultimately, I will strike back out on my own - but it will be nice to have the predictable income for a few years.

DCL website appears to be down right now when you try to log into your activities. I hope it wasn't some sort of glitch that allowed all the palo reservations last night. Hope you printed out your confirmations or screen shots or something showing it booked. Maybe it'll be working again soon. I didn't want palo. I really want a cabana, but I know it's probably hopeless at this point. Anyone have one they don't want???

Website is back up & it looks like Remy & Palo still have available slots.

kimistry, we are planning to stay just south of atlanta thurs night and then again on sun night. probably in macon (3.5 hrs from chatt). nothing fancy, just the Holiday inn express, lol! (it's right off 75 and as of right now it's $84)

Mom is headed to Orlando tomorrow on a business trip. She's returning on thursday just in time for our school pop concert.

Quick question to anyone that drives to the port on I-75 through Georgia. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to stay? We want to stay overnight driving back after the cruise. We want to stop before we get to Atlanta.

We are overnighting in Valdosta, GA, and have also stayed in Macon, GA. We plan to spend Sat after the cruise in Downtown Disney, and then head to Valdosta. Second leg of our travel will be completed on Sunday.

Call quickly, because it is a holiday weekend, and also a popular wedding weekend due to many employers having a long weekend/closed Monday. We had a bit of trouble finding something, and then it was pricier than we had hoped for.

I have to apologize in advance for our FE gifts. I started buying materials a year ago. I didn't have a set idea what to make, so I haven't started. We leave for Orlando next Saturday. I had all these ideas but that is as far as it went. I wont have as many FE gifts or as nice as I wanted. I'll have a few things I can give still...

Don't know whats up with the DCL website or if people are cancelling, but there are some pirates league appointments available for pirate night now, granted they aren't the best times (kinda early in the day in my opinion) but I know there were some people who posted they missed out when the appointments opened and sold out within a few hours. (Whew.. Sorry for that run on sentence LOL) Looks like DCL may have actually added more appointments earlier in the day. So if you want one, go check it out. We have the 2 boys going already in the later afternoon.

Thanks for the heads up. Someone posted on the main cruise board that DCL converted the BBB appointments to Pirate's League for Pirate Night. I am glad to see this but I'm sure those with BBB appointments weren't as happy.
