**Fantasy Becomes Reality** Group--5/19/2012 (INDEX/ROLE CALL, PAGE 1--ENTRY 1)

:welcome::welcome::welcome:
Big overdue welcome to all the additions to our cruise over the past few months!!!!:donald::donald::donald:

Hi Jaymepops!!!
The MS gulf coast was a second home to me while growing up! My parents even moved to Ocean Springs when they first retired. When they still lived there & we drove to Disney, they would be our "half-way-point" stop to spend the night.

Hi dtang26!!
We live in Grapevine! Nice to see DFW will be well represented!!!

We love Ocean Springs....we moved here 6 years ago! We never want to move anywhere else.....except maybe Kissamee....lol

Hello fellow VERY EXCITED cruisers!!! I was hoping that those more experienced than I could help me with a few questions.....

1. Kids Club check in --- We registered the boys online last night. Can we check them in while waiting in the terminal or do we do that once we get onboard and head over to the Oceaneer Club/Lab? I know we still have other paperwork to do for them and they also need to get tagged with their GPS etc.

2. Clearly we did NOT get our Remy booking we were hoping for last night. When we get on board, where do we ask for other reservation avalibility? I know I read a post that said they don't release a lot of reservations online and you have a good chance of getting one on the ship. Do you just go to the Guest Services desk or the actual resturant?

3. The Spa!! -- Kind of along the same lines as the previous question.... We were able to book a Couples Villa on the 2nd at sea day, unfortunately it's at 5:15pm. We would like to check to see if we can move it to an earlier time. Once again do we go directly to the spa or Guest Services?

4. Castaway Cay -- We tried to get a family cabana last night :rotfl2: ...yes all are already sold out! Where can we make a request to add our name to the other 2,400 people on the wait list?

5. Pirate Party night and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I would like to get my boys in for a pirate make-over on that night - once again, along with everyone else..... Where do we check for avalibility?

6. Special dinner nights-- I know Pirate Party dinner night is after St. Maarten, but does anyone have a maybe guess on when formal night and semi formal nights are? Are there any other "special" dining nights?

I am sure I have more questions that I am forgetting right now...I'll have to post them later...thanks to anyone who can help answer them!!

Dizdaddy - I sent you an email last night with our family pics. You said to let you know.....

Have a great #74 all!!!! :yay:

1. Kids Club check in

2. Remy reservation avalibility?

3. The Spa!!

4. Castaway Cay

5. Pirate Party night and the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

6. Special dinner nights

1. You can either get the kid's club wristbands in the terminal or onboard. If there are long queues in the terminal or if you want to check out the kid's clubs when you board anyway, you can also get the wristbands at the kid's clubs shortly after boarding. I'm not sure how the Fantasy will work, but I'm sure it will be similar to the other ships.

2. There will be a dining changes/reservations place noted on the Navigator for embarkation. You can go there to make your requests. On other ships you can go to Palo to make reservations there as well, so I'm only guessing they will let you do this on the Fantasy too with Palo/Remy. It will be in the Navigator you get upon boarding. Otherwise, as a CM for the location and times.

3. Go to the spa to make changes to your spa reservations. Thy will be open when you board, just for this purpose.

4. You can keep checking the website for cabana cancellations - one will show up if someone cancelled theirs. Otherwise, onboard you can add your name to the waiting list at the Port Adventures desk. I don't think they have a waiting list online or via phone. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

5. The word so far is that an e-mail will be sent when the bookings for this become available. However, like the Chill Spa, it will likely only be able to be booked whilst onboard. Nobody really knows yet... keep checking the DIS for updates.

6. From the Magic and Wonder's 7-day schedule, and if the Fantasy sticks to it, Formal night is usually the second night. Semi-formal is usually on the second or third sea day. I don't know if anyone here can confirm which. You could always call and ask - they usually know. As for special menus, you have one themed menu for each restaurant, pirate night, formal night, welcome aboard, and till we meet again. (That's if they keep the same 7-day menus as before.)

I'm celebrating day 74 by taking care of a sick husband and a cat with pink eye. Oh joy! Lots of sleep and soup for one and a vet visit and antibiotics for the other. And a little DIS for me to keep me smiling. Only 64 days until we leave!!:dance3:

OMG! I just took my cat to the vet yesterday and found out she has Pink Eye too!!!!:rotfl: I didn't even know cats got pink eye!!! :confused3 Well, I hope day 73 goes better! Remember when you are giving eye drops, you are in control!:rotfl2:

My day 73 is mani pedis with a friend, sushi lunch, homework and house cleaning with the boys and Gaby's baseball practice! Have a great day!!!

I have put together a Google Doc to keep track of the schedule
May 19 EC 7 Nt Cruise Schedule - Tentative

As soon as the Fantasy starts sailing I am hoping to fill in some of the blanks.

I did the same thing last night, since we couldn't watch the christening. :confused3 Don't understand what Disney was thinking there. Anyway, can't wait to get on board and meet everyone!

Tony & Sue, good luck with the move this weekend. Hope you have good weather and a lot of help!

Well, we have all of the large stuff moved, and should be able to wrap this up this week. We tried to get a jump on moving so that we were prepared....and could get back to focusing on our upcoming trip... We have FE gifts to make!!!

So, we are not yet settled, but hope to pop back in on the board as time permits. I already owe some updates....

I know Tony and Sue! Otherwise, have to go look things up - yes, am officially that old now.

Thanks!

Mati :hippie:

Hmmmm...is this a good thing???? LOL.... Or we are just so 'involved' that we can't be ignored????

Glad to hear things are looking up Mati. Sabrina is a brave young lady and I'm sure she and Kai are both looking to spend some quality time with their mom...

Good luck with the cat! We had to wrestle the dog to do drops once... I can't imagine a cat!

Glad I could make your day a little brighter!!

Meanwhile, we have 4 days left on the drops, and at this point, I don't think we have really gotten one directly into the eye........ I think it might be easier to hold her down shave her , then teach her to use the toilet and read the newspaper and then give her a bath.....what kind of vet tells you to give your cat eye drops....shesssshhhh..isn't there a shot or an app for that? LOL

FOUR MORE DAYS to join the FE Exchange! Then we'll lock it up. (List closes at 4:00pm EST, March 11)

We've had an addition or two and a couple of drop outs. Make sure that you take a look at the second tab on the spreadsheet for information on who you're delivering to and to make sure that you're on the list!

EVERYONE should take a look at the list to make sure that they ARE NOT ON IT if they are NOT participating (just in case I screwed up :rotfl:)

Want to join? Please send me a Private Message (PM) before 4:00 pm EST on Sunday, March 11.

Hi John! Verifying with a couple of folks to make sure they are still in - will let you know. My intention is to make a gift for everyone on the list - not half and then will have something small for the kids. At least those are my plans! Better get started!

Thanks for the link!!!:cheer2::yay::cheer2::yay::cheer2::yay:

Hi Grazyna!

Wasn't that great? The horn gave me chills!

:lmao: Yikes! With our other two cats, this would definitely be the case as well. However, the cat that has pink eye is so mellow that he doesn't care that he has to wear a cone, get drops, or antibiotic ointment smeared on his eye three times a day. He wiggles a bit when we have to wipe the crusty bits off his eye, and then curls up in our lap and purrs as we give him the ointment! Sadly, the pink eye treatments aren't working and the vet will be sending a script to the pharmacy for antivirals. If those don't work, we could be sent to a specialist vet a four hour drive away. Eeek. (Thank goodness the shelter we just adopted this little guy from included pet health insurance.)

Jaymepops, how's your kitty doing? Any better?
