We don't have anything on page 1 yet. I don't see our names listed either & I know I put them on here a couple months ago. I will do it again this weekend when I have more time. I am getting ready to board a plane now & was just checking here for any updates.

I did the same thing last night, since we couldn't watch the christening. Don't understand what Disney was thinking there. Anyway, can't wait to get on board and meet everyone!

Wow! I NEVER get choked up (well, if you exclude kid births/graduations/weddings). But did so after watching these videos of the Fantasy christening. It is so so exciting!

OK. I am now ready to come back to this thread. We booked this cruise on opening day & have put planning it on hold as it was so far away. Now we are starting to think about it & getting really excited. We would like to sign up for the fish extender group. We think the kids would love it. We haven't told them about the cruise yet. There will be two adults & two kids.

We got all paid in full a couple days ago and we got our Remy reservation all set for the final night!!! I am up a for a meet and greet if one comes together.

DizDaddy & JohnPA - could you update our kids ages on the rosters - we have been booked for so long they are all a year older: Emma - 15, Madeline - 14, and Leila - 8

Happy Friday Everyone!

Wow the board is picking up!

I guess as we get closer the excitement is building. I haven't given this much thought yet but intend to give the cruise full attention this weekend

Our trip to Philly was a success - hard but it went well and we made it home safely so looking at that as a success. Sabrina is adjusting to life with the new braces. I will NOT make her take the daytime brace on the cruise but she does have to take the nighttime one. She seemed ok with that.

Still making final plans post - cruise. Did book BC and will cancel the Swan. Also booked DCL transport from MCO to port to BC. now to figure out ADR and park tickets!!!!

So, my question to all of you this fine Friday night is -- for those of you with kids similar in age to mine (8 and 10) -- do you think they will enjoy the food at Ohana? Worth the $$ especially for Sabrina who is an adult price??

Ok, going to snuggle with my kids and read trip reports (should be planning FEs and shopping online for cruise clothes).

Glad to hear the trip was a success. Hopefully, Sabrina will adjust quickly to the braces.

We plan on shopping this weekend for clothes for the cruise. I need a formal dress and my DH needs a suit. My boys will be going to the kids club for dinner, but now Matthew (my 8 yr) has decided he wants to dress up and go to the formal dinner with us, so he needs something to wear too.

Funny you ask. I had asked our TA to make our ADR at Ohana, and she discouraged us because of our kids (youngest 11). This was back in December, but my memory is that she said the food was eclectic... We chose Tusker House on our own, hopefully will fit the family better.

Ok, all you friends who make your ressies at 75 days.... here is a shout out to you in hope you have a good night (I assume tomorrow night)!

To help:

My 2 suggestion:
Number one:
If your top priority is a Palo dinner or Spa appointment, consider doing the following as soon as you log on to your activities (I think link is)
https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/planning-center/my-cruise-plans/overview

click on any day. Then instead of clicking on adult dining (or spa) for that day, click the left arrow up at the upper left of the box that says "select a different day". then you will see a choice at the upper far left "search all days" click the "add activity" in that rectangle. After entering your people and searching this will show you quickly all the days.

Number two: if Palo dinner is not shown as sold out, but after you enter your party, you keep getting not available. Try changing the party size. (if you are entering 6 or 8 people, try entering 4). I assume if the choice is between noone can do Palo versus a subset; you will choose subset. Also, I wonder if it easier to get upsized with an existing ressie?

Ok. If it helps, as of the wee hours this AM, as everyone has been posting... there are no Palo brunch or tea available. Cabanas are all sold out. But on the bright side the sole port adventure sold out for all 3 ports was St. Thomas "St John Island Tour". All spa venues had availability.

Lastly, a disclaimer.. presumably, there will be some people who today and tomorrow are postponing/cancelling their cruise as last day to get most of your $ back. I don't know how soon any Palo ressies they made will be "freed up" to the rest. So here's to you hoping you get what you want!

"Officially" got the stuff to make our FE gifts!!! Started out one way, but decided on a totally different route. Someone on our last FE did these really cute Christmas tree ornaments with our cruise info and I was going to try to do something similar. Apparently I missed the memo that I am NOT quite that artistically gifted So-- it's off to plan B

The other adventure for today? We bought construction paper to make our cruise countdown paper chain! I wasn't going to start it with about 500 links... 77 seems MUCH more reasonable! Time to go get "artsy," haha

I hate to do this to you, but I needed to add a celebration to our spreadsheet We are celebrating Alex's birthday on Friday (the 25th). His birthday is actually the next week (if I'm totally honest) but he gets so excited about everyone's birthday and trying to make it special I wanted to try to surprise him. Alex has mild Asperger's and he's had a pretty rough year of it in school this year (rough teacher ) so I'm trying to make this trip as big of an "end of the year,""we made it," "yay it's summer," "you have LOTS to celebrate this birthday!" kind of trip If you have a chance to add it, that would be great. If not, it's ok

I don't know if it was the christening, the fact the Fantasy is on its way to PC, or the fact that our cruise is just around the corner - but I am starting to get SO PUMPED-UP for the cruise!!!

I booked on opening day (silver), and it was easy to not think about it, because it was SO FAR AWAY (October, 2010). But now, I am officially at the point of


I have been scouring the boards for each new piece of info the fantasy - I cant wait for the first few cruises to get back & cruisers start posting about their experiences.

On the down side, I'm pretty sure my productivity level will be in the toilet for the next "two months, two weeks, and two days" according to my ticker!
