Celebrating 73 days with a sick kid
We got Joey the flu shot just because they asked us if we wanted him to have it when he went for his annual check-up... He's the only one who got it and he's on his third round of the nasty stomach bug that's going on around here and he had the sore throat/fever last week. I swear this house is like a petri dish! Are everyone else's schools turning into ghost towns? We only have less than 400 kids in our school and over 60 are out sick! Geeze!
So since I'm stuck in the house for the day, I am naturally avoiding all the things I SHOULD be doing (housework, reports for work, yearbook b/c I'm the advisor and it's due in 2 weeks), I am wasting away the day browsing cruise stuff :surf web: They posted day 20 to close the cruise journal on the DCL site! And I remembered to call DVC to add Alex's birthday to the celebration
Not going to tell him though-- I'm just going to let him be surprised

Yikes! With our other two cats, this would definitely be the case as well. However, the cat that has pink eye is so mellow that he doesn't care that he has to wear a cone, get drops, or antibiotic ointment smeared on his eye three times a day. He wiggles a bit when we have to wipe the crusty bits off his eye, and then curls up in our lap and purrs as we give him the ointment! Sadly, the pink eye treatments aren't working and the vet will be sending a script to the pharmacy for antivirals. If those don't work, we could be sent to a specialist vet a four hour drive away. Eeek. (Thank goodness the shelter we just adopted this little guy from included pet health insurance.)

). Next up: open windows to get rid of these germs!!!!
Hi everybody! It's been a SUPER long time since I've been on the boards, but now with the cruise getting closer - I'm ready to get back in the game!!
