LOL, but congrats for sticking to the program. My ortho has me doing yoga and body weight exercises for my back. i feel the pain.half hour of strength & flexibility exercises with a 2 mile run...
Being unemployed has turned out to harder work then working was.
Glad the procedure went well. Hope you are up to double fisting the dolewhips for your trips.Doing pretty good, had my right shoulder replaced last week and I am recovering quickly. I’m pretty fly for an old guy!![]()
You could just lie down… easier.half hour of strength & flexibility exercises with a 2 mile run...

Bacon!
Glad you're healing, and I would agree that you're pretty fly for someone a smidgen older than me.Doing pretty good, had my right shoulder replaced last week and I am recovering quickly. I’m pretty fly for an old guy!![]()
Yes, but you are doin' the movin'. And that's a good thing.LOL, but congrats for sticking to the program. My ortho has me doing yoga and body weight exercises for my back. i feel the pain.
Well, seeing as I'm not currently bringing any appreciable cash into the house, I suppose it could be said that I was lying down on the job. Would that count? You could just lie down… easier.
That's a lot and dang fine use of an annual to be sure.Christmas in the parks in December. DDCC in January… and a before the cruise trip in February… I’ve got an annual pass and I know how to use it
Depends. Now, just how many bits and pieces does one have to replace before you can begin referring to yourself as a cyborg?
cyborgmy neck since I had a bunch of titanium installed in those particular bones
The referees confer...Well, seeing as I'm not currently bringing any appreciable cash into the house, I suppose it could be said that I was lying down on the job. Would that count?
NiceDespite my working woes we actually have a cruse planed for May (7 days on the Treasure)
family... is this... a good thjing? But it's a 35th anniversary/family celebration event that we've been setting funds aside for, so I don't see a reason to be canceling it at this point.
Meh, you are recuperating. Its different.Well, seeing as I'm not currently bringing any appreciable cash into the house, I suppose it could be said that I was lying down on the job. Would that count?
Very true. One of these days we can all hope for that. That's a lot and dang fine use of an annual to be sure.
Hey and look on the bright side, you don't have to try to kill yourself getting ahead before you leave to get ahead, or stress about the work thats gonna be piled up for you when you get off the boat.Despite my working woes we actually have a cruse planed for May (7 days on the Treasure). But it's a 35th anniversary/family celebration event that we've been setting funds aside for, so I don't see a reason to be canceling it at this point.
Well, we just did WDW in August, so that means we're in a bit of a lull as far as travel goes...So, how are all y'all doing these days?
And does any one have any trips coming up or planning?
Titanium? Whoa, cool. PLEASE tell me you had them install Wolverine claws while they were working on you.I have to watch what I do with my neck since I had a bunch of titanium installed in those particular bones a while back, but the rest of me can be abused pretty freely. That being the case and since I never bothered to do anything like that through out my first six decades, I figured (while I've got all this extra time on my hands) that I might as well start now.
That's absolutely worth celebrating come you-know-what or high water.Despite my working woes we actually have a cruse planed for May (7 days on the Treasure). But it's a 35th anniversary/family celebration event that we've been setting funds aside for, so I don't see a reason to be canceling it at this point.
That's how it works.we're in a bit of a lull as far as travel goes...
So we'll have to start planning the next one!
LOL, been planning for almost 3 years trying to get back to the world. That's how it works.![]()
The planning to get back never really stops.LOL, been planning for almost 3 years trying to get back to the world.
For us, a good thing.family... is this... a good thjing?
Depending on the dynamic, you can take this in different ways.
And these (along with the need to get approval from superiors for time off in the first place) are actually why I'm being somewhat picky about what jobs I even apply for. (although - as it turns out - 20 or 30 rejections/goastings a week is no less dejecting then a couple hundred a week.)Hey and look on the bright side, you don't have to try to kill yourself getting ahead before you leave to get ahead, or stress about the work thats gonna be piled up for you when you get off the boat.
Unfortunately... they weren't working on my arms, and blades running strait through my spinal chord at the levels that control things like breathing and heart functionality was just a might impractical.Titanium? Whoa, cool. PLEASE tell me you had them install Wolverine claws while they were working on you.
Precisely. That's absolutely worth celebrating come you-know-what or high water.
Truth. The planning to get back never really stops.
Thats great. Sounds like it’ll be a great time. For us, a good thing.
Its really just my immediate family. Meaning: myself, the boss, our young'en and our bonus young'en. So, four folks, two cabins, very similar personalities and no known buried issues causing problems.
Isn’t that 70-80 times less dejecting than a hundred rejections?although - as it turns out - 20 or 30 rejections/goastings a week is no less dejecting then a couple hundred a week
Although this might also qualify as a definition an addictive behavior.
(and I'm good with that)
