Hi everyone. We booked this cruise whilst onboard the Wonder last week. We originally booked it as a dummy cruise pending the new itinerary release and since then we've decided to keep this cruise and enjoy a week at WDW, Universal, and then the beautiful new ship! Hurrah! This will be our third DCL cruise vacation.

My husband is nagging me to sign up for the FE exchange this time as we didn't for the cruise last week and he felt left out. We have severe food allergies so I'll make sure that's noted on our FE exchange when the time comes. We're big kids at heart and we're super excited for the Fantasy in 2012!

playing outside. Came in because the boys were too hot!!!! What a welcome change! Looking forward to a warm clear night so we can take the telescope

Soccer season starts tomorrow. Two boys of two age groups on two separate teams means soccer every day for the next 3 months. The fun part? I'm on coaching staff for both of them, lol... My visits to the boards may go down just

a *little* Looking forward to the "outdoor season" though-- it's so nice to see (and feel!) the sun again!!!!

son played baseball and one summer he played on three leagues the same year, it helped that he played for one team so there was one practice for the two leagues but lots of games and dad was traveling for work at that time! Ugh but like you said at least you will be outside!

Looking forward to 80 degree weather here on Sunday-- with SUN!!! It's been warm, but wet! Thanks for the well wishes with Joey-- it looks like it's going to take a trip to Pittsburgh Children's for some med adjustments though. Just a matter of getting ahold of them. He's in good spirits though. No grand mals since the trip-- just awake seizures, which I'll take!

Glad Joey is doing better. I hope he keeps improving and his spirits stay up!

My youngest keeps checking in on here for the countdown-- then informing DH (and anyone else who will listen) how long it is until he's on the Fantasy. So fun to see them so excited He's the only one who dreamily looks at all the pics and virtual tours with me... Now we're exploring the ports too DH thinks we're nuts, but he won't worry about what we're doing until about a week before we leave-- then he'll obsess... Do you have this done? Did you do this? Do we have this??? Yes, dear-- I did all that 120 days ago, haha

How funny! My youngest is constantly asking to see the video of the Aquaduck. We haven't started looking at the ports yet but maybe I should add that to our list! My husband thinks I am nuts to look ahead so far, especially with a big vacation this summer BUT I can't help it! Gives me something to look forward to every day.

It's been a busy/hard few weeks of work (I'm a mental health counselor at a university in southern Ohio), and I'm attending a celebration of life ceremony for a long-time friend who died far too young on Wednesday at age 32 of liver cancer just 9 months after the diagnosis. I expect Sunday will be a very bittersweet day. I'm feeling really ready for this cruise! ~ Jenny

Jenny, I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. So young and such a short time between diagnosis and end of life. I am sure it was a beautiful celebration. My friend died earlier this year from breast cancer at 38. It has taught me to "eat life with a big spoon" as she would say and enjoy every second. I am sending lots of hugs and prayers your way.

So what's your thought on the new itineraries? Thinking of booking?

Oooh....I should now that they are coming to Galveston! I need to go look!

We have warmed up and started to "cook" here in Austin! We hit 90 over the weekend and me and kids burned to a crisp at the pool. So stupid -- I do this every April. At least now I am armed with SPF50 and ready to take on the rest of the spring/summer.

I am impressed that you are coaching two soccer teams! Did you play as a kid? I wouldn't even know where to start! I am glad you will get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Nothing like some fresh air and sun to make you feel like a kid again.

I feel badly that I haven't been posting often. As I mentioned before, we have been dealing with some challenges this past month. Things are calming down now and Sabrina will begin treatment for her scoliosis on Friday. She is getting a Gomez TLSO brace. It is a hard brace that she has to wear 23 hours a day. I think she is excited about finally starting her treatment -- I exhausted her with visits to 4 doctors and 2 orthotists. I don't know if she will have the brace on the cruise but by then, it should be a part of who she is. Now to hope the special brace does the trick and improves the curve and rotation of her spine.

I feel like a huge weight is lifting off of my shoulders now and I can start to focus on "fun" things like our summer vacation and the cruise next year.

I am excited about all of the new folks joining us but a bit lost on the names! I need to go back to the first page and start matching names with DIS IDs.

Ok, so should really get some work done today.

Good Morning!!!

Sun is finally shining here in South Dakota. Should be in the 60s today but back in the 40s the rest of the week.

We are excited to get outdoors. We moved to SD last June. We have been "temporarily" living in a small townhome while our home in Nebraska is on the market. As of this week our house has been for sale for one year - UGH! The townhome is pretty tight for a family of 5 - so hopefull we can start spending more time outside to ease our cabin fever.

DD Emma made cheerleading!! Thanks for all the well wishes.
