Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all of you that have added to our FE list! I am so excited.

I do think I will officially say that we are capping the sign up at March 11th 2015 to allow time for those that make gifts or order items etc.

As we get closer I think we can discuss splitting the list if it gets too crazy large...which really why wouldn't it, we have an awesome itinerary and group already!

I also wanted to put it out there that I can add you if need be, just PM me the information. I am happy to help however I can.

Yes, I have two kids which I added late last night. I had started to add us on my way to work yesterday and totally forget to finish. Lol. But my entry is up to date. I am really excited for this trip and the FE. I hope I did everything properly.

Just wanted to let ya'll know that my family and I will be going on this sailing and CAN'T WAIT! I'm following this thread to stay updated!

So far we have 6 cabins and are TAKING OVER deck 8 aft!

I'm looking forward to any meet ups or gatherings!

This will be my first time on the Fantasy! So Geeked!

I think that was at your discretion. We didn't last time but most of the other people on our last FE did say something like "from the (Family Name)!" Or something.

I've been lurking around the cruise forum for awhile, and I've been around Disney message boards for years, but when I saw this thread I figured it was time to officially join!

My fiancee and I just booked for this cruise. This is my first Disney Cruise in 14 years. I was 14 for the last one, so I imagine things are a bit different as an adult. lol It'll be Steph's first Disney Cruise. We're excited about meeting some new Disney fans on our ship!

Hi everyone

We were on the 5 April Fantasy cruise and rebooked for the cruise on Apr 11 2015 and then I was trawling through the dis and found this thread so thought I'd join you.

This will be the 8th cruise for DH & I and the 6th cruise for our DD (age 8 almost 9 at time of cruise) and DS (age 5 at time of cruise). We have definitely been bitten by the DCL bug.

I have never participated in an FE as this is usually part of a longer vacation and as we travel from the UK luggage can be an issue. I know that last cruise there were so many FE participants that I think they ended up with 3 or 4 groups. There was a list of everyone on board and then there was additional information if they were participating in the FE.

We had our meet in D Lounge which was pre-arranged with DCL by someone in the group. We also ended up pre-booking a group mixology class, in fact there was so many people that we ended up with two groups....it was great fun.

Hello fellow cruisers!

We have just booked this cruise, and I'm thrilled to have found this thread.

This will be our first Disney Cruise. We are DL veterans, did DW last year for the first time, and have cruised before (though not Disney). It will be myself, DH, DD (celebrating her 10th bday on the cruise), and our babysitter/family friend (24). We are hoping to completely surprise DD with the trip, but not sure if I'll be able to keep the secret!

We would like to be a part of the FE as well.

So happy to be joining you all! I've read through all of the posts here, and it seems like a great group!

I am *this* close to booking this cruise - I booked a dummy date on our back to back on the Magic a couple weeks ago. This will be our 6th DCL cruise and second time on the Fantasy.

I have three kids who will be 17, 14 and 12 next April - seems SOOOOOO far away! I don't do the FEs though because I'm just not organized enough although it always looks fun when see them hanging onboard!

Hi! We're SUPER excited to surprise our kids with their VERY first cruise (we've been on many, but never DCL)!!! We plan to tell them in December. They'll be 13 (DD), 9 (DD) and 7 (DS) when the ship sets sail. I'd appreciate ANY suggestions/tips/ideas/connections/recommendations that will make our first DCL experience extra amazing.

We're surprising our kiddos (ages 10 and 5) in December also for Christmas. I just hope I can keep my mouth shut until then and not spoil the surprise!

To answer your question about how to make the experience amazing, head to Pinterest and search "Disney Cruise Tips". This will be our first cruise (ever) and I found a TON of great tips there. A good one was to bring something like a pillowcase, a t-shirt or picture frame with a bag of colorful sharpies and drop it off at guest services and they'll have the characters autograph your item. I believe they'll do two items per stateroom.

We did the Eastern itinerary due to a hurricane and I must say I was quite disappointed with St. Marteen. All there are is a small beach, and lots of people trying to sell you time shares and jewelery in shops. We were told by guest services we should try and get to the Dutch side of the island, but were unable because we were told at the visitors center that the taxi's stop running over there at certain hours due to traffic. I really wish we could have went to the Dutch side. Others have said that the bistros are good and its totally different. Bewarned though if you have young children they have topless/nude beaches on the Dutch side. We liked St. Thomas, we did a snorkeling adventure there that was lots of fun. Our boat captain and crew made some kind of rum punch on the way back in and people were really getting toasted. We went to a little mall type area and did some shopping and ate at Senor Frogs which was a lot of fun. It ws right next to port and a short walk. Beware here though things are a bit pricey if your on a budget. All in all the trip was great. We were disappointed that we didn;t get our Western cruise due to mother nature, so we rebooked for this year. Just 83 more days to set sail on a Western itinerary. Hope this helps some people.
