Meridian is awesome! Best view in the entire ship IMO.
I go there every morning... I grab a coffee from cove & drink it there and then late at night for a cocktail before going to bed.

Are Henry (Peru) and Carolina (DR) still there? Had them in March & hoping to see them again in July. They're very knowledgeable and nice to talk to.

True. But these 2 particular servers mentioned they only rotate between ooh lala, Meridian & skyline supposedly bc they are official sommeliers & that they were going to be there until august. who knows. I wish I get to see them again. Some CM's are real fun to interact with.

The best bar is the one closest to my stateroom so I can take my drink back and drink on my verandah.

Best place to go is where you find a good bartender. When Andrae is working DH and I spend our time where he is - he is a fantastic bartender - we have spent cruises with him at Bon Voyage and La Piazza. And when he was on vacation we have spent time at the Cove Cafe, Oh La La and the Meridian. Each Bar has it unique quality - just depends on you and what you like atmosphere wise.

I can say I really miss the piano bar on the Magic from our cruises in the early 2000's. That was a great place to hang out - wish they had something like that on the Fantasy.

This! Andrae is the best and have enjoyed his company on a few cruises now. For fans of his that don't know, he's only on the Fantasy for one more contract (through Dec) then switches to the Magic after his wedding in February.

Thanks for the info. We saw him the week before he left for this vacation. Now I have a reason to pick a new itinerary and ship for my cruises in 2020, If all goes as planned we will see him one more time before he moves.
