Fantasy 7N Western - July 6, 2013

Sorry - forgot to respond. Brian likes adult drinks :cool2:

In fact, we are thinking about trying to sign up for a mixology class :)

Can you believe this will be our 4th cruise and we never went to one of those :rolleyes1

We didn't do our first mixology until our last cruise - #7! :rotfl: We'd done wine tastings starting with cruise #2 or 3 (can't remember) but never done anything else until our EBTA - with 8 sea days, there was plenty of time for tastings!

I know we're planning on doing a mixology and probably a wine tasting or two over the course of our B2B. We did rum on the EBTA and that was an experience! I'd love to do the Margaritas (though I'm not a fan of tequila) and if there's anything related to chocolate - I'm there! :cool1:

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to have a 1st day meet? I'm pretty sure it hasn't been planned yet, correct? We're doing the cruise before this one as well, so I'm trying to get everything down now so I don't forget and miss anything! :rotfl2:

Most of the cruises I've been on have had meets at 3pm on embarkation day, which works great for me. But I've never been on the Fantasy (or Dream) so I have no idea what a good place to meet is! The June 29th cruise is meeting in the Tube (I think), but I was looking at the deck plans and thought maybe the Vista Cafe would be good as well - kinda like the Promenade Lounge on the classics?

Can't wait! Counting the days!

I'm pretty sure that the Vista Cafe is adults only. It's a great central spot but not for kids. We went on the Fantasy last year and our meet was on the top deck during sailaway and the was not a good place for it! 3:00 somewhere specific is a good idea!

Checking the navigator Vista Cafe is not listed as adult only.

Cove Bar, Cove Cafe, Currents, Meridian, Skyline, The Tube, and Ooh La La say they are adult only.
O'Gill's Pub is after 9pm

Oh good, I must have gotten it confused with Cove Cafe. The Vista Cafe sounds like a good place to me then....

Finalizing everything for my FE gifts. I know I asked on FB which men do/don't drink adult beverages. I heard back from everyone except for Andy, Michael, & Brian in our group; anyone have an answer for these guys? Please PM me or let me know. Thank you :)

Hi!!! Michael doesn't drink adult beverages.

The Vista Cafe sounds great to us. It is very open and may be hard for us to recognize each other.

Looking at photos of the area, it looks like there's lots of seating. I know on the classics, 3pm wasn't a time folks were hanging out sitting around in seating areas, so hopefully it won't be too busy!

Yes Andy does like alcoholic drinks. Sorry to get back to you, just caught up on it all :)

Yes Vista Cafe does sound like a good place. What time do you think we should meet up? Around 3.00? Does anyone know when the lightboat drill is as well?
:confused3

Also when we're cruising a really good duo called Ash and Mike, two Australian lads, are playing music around the ship. We saw them last time and they are brilliant so be sure to look out for them :)

Hi everyone! I am so excited that today (on a last minute whim) I checked the Cruise Line website and found a great deal and made a reservation on this sailing! This is our fourth Disney cruise (2nd time Western Carib) and we are beyond excited because we KNOW it will be a great vacation. Is it to late to join your fish extender group? We love participating and I know we can put something great together. It will be myself, my husband and our 16 yr old daughter. If it is to late I completely understand. So excited!!!:woohoo:

Welcome aboard! The FE list sign-up closed on June 1 to give everyone time to get things together, so unfortunately it's too late to officially join. We didn't want to keep accepting people until the last minute!

I hate changing the rules at this late date but if no one objects, I can add you as a an optional "late add" to the list - put your information on the end with no strings and no guarantees. That way if people have extra, they can include you if they wish, but hopefully no one would feel obligated. I know for me, my plans still aren't 100% set, so accommodating an extra stateroom isn't difficult.

You can view the final list at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aj5nUPrzMcnedDlhaGMxRXZTVTFiMEhoWWtJQUNpVXc#gid=2 - PM me your details and I will include them.

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Finalized FE list is available on the google doc:

Please note that the following have not submitted t-shirt sizes:

Thewallacefamily, Gatacmke, Kfamilylovesdisney

As the form is no longer available, please send me a PM and I'll get the sizes on the final list.

Looking forward to a great cruise!

Please, please, please, if you have not indicated t-shirt sizes for your group, do it asap. We would hate for you to be left out.

Welcome. We bought extra FE gifts for just that reason.

Thanks everyone. We are working on ours too! We have a VGT reservation and we have not been assigned a room number yet. I will get that information to you as soon as possible. We will be at the meet at 3:00 as well.
