I am sooooooo excited about the FE's. I found one on Etsy that I want to purchase. Oh, and the ideas for stuff, well my mind is active at that. I seem to be up till 4am or so pondering what I want to do. I am still looking for some ideas, so if anyone wants to share things that they have gotten in the past, this FE newbie would appreciate it.

Hey, Teri! If you look through our thread, I've shared some things I've done in the past. The thread below is quiet now, but I got lots of ideas there. There is another thread I follow about FE ideas for teens. Search the main forum and you'll find TONS of ideas and info!

Hi everyone! Just booked this cruise with our MIL this afternoon! Can't wait! When we were leaving AAA, my DH whispered to me, "Please don't drive me crazy with the cruise stuff!" LOL he knows how excited I get! So I'll just come here to babble about stuff.

This will be our 2nd cruise EVER! We are going to opt out of the FEs, though. Sorry!
Oh! 189 days to go!!!

Hi - My husband was just rolling his eyes at me last night! He doesn't want to anticipate too much and then be disappointed, he says. Its a good thing we have the Disboards to hang out in.

Ha! Yes, dis boards to maintain everyone's sanity! I've been looking at port adventures all day. Did you know you can hold a baby sea turtle at the turtle farm in Grand Cayman? Omg!

I came home from church, made a BLT sandwhich, sat in my lounge chair and fell asleep because I am so tired of moving around this snow

I woke up just in time to watch the Dream leave port 15 minutes early. That weather in Florida looked nasty today.

We just got another snow day for tomorrow and will likely be off Tuesday too due to this crazy cold weather! At this rate the kids and I may not get out til July!!

Joe--looks like we may be doing a late June trip to Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Philly! My son is getting into history and we want to encourage his interest! Omni looks like it'd be a nice place to stay--can you confirm?

My grandmother and grandfather moved to Lancaster for the last 10-15 years of their lives and loved it there. (I went to college not to far from Gettysburg.) If you need a place to stay in Lancaster - I highly recommend Willow Valley - it's a lovely resort, with a great buffet and pool. It's owned my Mennonites who run the second largest retirement community in the US. (Or used to be second largest.)

We loved it there.

The Omni is an excellent choice! It is right in the middle of all the great historical sites

Remind me when the date gets closer and maybe I can help you out to some free passes to a couple of sites

I sit on the board of a popular children's museum and have connections at the Philadelphia Zoo. They ask for my support on different projects over the years and in return I get the ability to get free passes

I LOVE cold weather, but must admit I don't think I could live in a snow area. Can I have the cold without the snow??? Our winter out here has been more like Spring with a hint of Summer. Does anyone want a visitor????

One of the things that I like about living on the East Coast is the fact that we have all four seasons

This winter is a little more extreme than usual. Some years Philadelphia gets very little snow and other years we really get hit.

I will definitely look forward to the warm weather this summer
