Hello everyone my family will be setting sail on this cruise as well. We are extremly excited, there is myself 47, my dh 45, and my dd 14. This will be our first cruise and who better to do it with. I have been looking at all the fabulous links on this web site and must say that I am just about to do a pee pee dance with excitement. The food looks scrumptous, the ship looks fabulous, and the reviews are great. Our room is 10566, its an ocean view with a verandah. Has anyone stayed in it, or near it? I am eager to know if there is alot of noise in that area. Right now Idon't think I really care because I plan on doing so much that I will probably die when I finally go to bed. Now I have been trying to learn about the FE. If someone could e-mail me with the info. I would love to know if I have to make my own FE, and if I join the group how many gifts would I have to make, and would it have to be one ifr every day or just a one time thing for each person, etc. I am really interested and curious about this. Thank you for all you can tell me.

As far as the FE goes, just PM Karriemouse with names, ages, room number and favorite character. From what I understand you can make the gifts, buy them, do one per person, per family and deliver when you want. It's all up to you!

I ended up getting insurance from a third party and was very happy with the prices and what it covered. I did buy insurance several years ago when I went on a seven day cruise with a friend of mine. My dad ended up getting very sick and I had to cancel the cruise the week before. I am so glad that I invested in the insurance!

Hi again everyone, sorry for being 'missing in action' for while - WDW holiday, interviews for Sophie, working away for a while and then away over Easter!

A huge to everyone who has joined recently! I will add everyone who asked to be added to the FE list - if you haven't sent me your details and wish to join, please do!! We need to decide a cut off date for joining as many people are making items - how does the 1st July sound? I'll post an update on how many people etc when I've updated the spreadsheet.

lady9 - so sorry you have to change your plans, but I'm glad that you are still able to take a cruise. Hope the surgery goes well.

Also, my dd is 12 (almost 13) and very shy. I'm hoping she might find a few girls around her age to connect to -before the cruise if possible. Anyone have a dd who might be interested?

We're heading to Boston (my original home) for two weeks in June, hoping it will break up the time before now and the cruise. Not wanting to wish the summer away but I can't wait till August 4!!

I've been trying to book this for ages as it's one of the jobs on Sophie's 'possible career' list so she's thrilled! I wonder who he or she will be?

Back on topic to the cruise - Nancy I'll speak with my Eleanor who is just 13 and maybe the girls can exchange email addresses? A bit behind at present due to having spent 2 days trying to sleep off a horrid sinus cold - hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!

We are diving all three stops with private tours. I can't wait. I'm not sure if we are doing anything on CC day or not. After being pretty busy on the first three stops, it might be nice to just kind of chill on CC.

I would love to see the ruins too, but can't fit everything in. Let us know what you decide!

We haven't decided anything yet. I would love the see the ruins as well since I'm a huge history buff, but I don't think my DH or DS would be too interested. We'll probably pick more family-friendly things like the underwater sub and maybe one of the dolphin experiences. We'll save our beach day for CC.
