You do have to join an FE group and, unfortunately, the group closed July 14th.

Wow - I have to say I am pretty impressed with the VGT process. This is my first VGT and I could not be happier. I got the same category as my last trip on the Fantasy and this one was at a substantial savings.

I'm really sorry but the deadline for joining the group was 14th July, as most of us were making and/or ordering our gifts and some of us are already on vacation. Sorry...

Congratulations to those who have got their room assignments - I'm sure the rest will come soon. And don't worry if you don't get your allocation until the day before, my door will have a message board so leave your number there, and if people check my door before they deliver you won't miss out.

The hotel wifi is a bit hit & miss, so I'll email out all the room numbers as I get a few!!

O.K, I GOT MY CABIN ASSIGNMENT FINALLY!!!!
A little bummed, we are in cabin 7191 at the aft of the ship in an inside cabin. Hoping the reviews I am reading online about the amount of noise isn't correct.
BUT WE HAVE A ROOM ASSIGNMENT!!! WOO HOO!!! Please add our room number to the fishextender list- will you email us out a final list now that everyone has cabin assignments? Can't wait!!

Now that the cabins have been assigned it all seems more real. I can picture myself on the ship now.
I am very excited. We were originally booked in an 8C and an adjoining (not connecting) 7A. I was okay with those rooms but they weren't perfect: The 8C had a little more room and the round shower, which I like, but didn't have the murphy bed so 2 of kids were going to have to share the queen bed. The 7A was a smaller room with an obstructed balcony but the other balcony rooms were too pricey. They weren't connecting but right next to each other, the next best thing. When I booked the VGT rooms I had to pay a penalty of $2300 but I still got $1152 back from what I originally paid. I knew both rooms would at least have a balcony. I was rolling the dice with location but figured it was worth $1152 and the chance to get much better rooms. So I am extremely happy to get connecting 4Bs. Now we have the extra space and round tub in both rooms, are connecting, and the kids have the murphy bed in their room so now they can each have their own bed. It really couldn't have worked out better.

What time is the cruise meet? I saw 3:00, but I thought I saw a post that the time was moved up due to the spa raffle that takes place at 3:00. Or maybe I am confusing this with our Sept cruise. Help!

As of last night, all FE gifts are officially FINISHED!!!!! Whew! I was getting worried there for a little bit. Now I can focus on packing and getting on the road next Wednesday. Can't wait to meet everyone!!
