Hi everyone! After much thought this week, I've decided to step out of the FE exchange and will hope to share in this experience on our next cruise. I am feeling a little pressured with Christmas and in planning both of my children's birthdays between Christmas and the time of our cruise. I worry I wouldn't do the FE justice and wouldn't want to let anyone down. Thanks for understanding

Good Afternoon,
I was just wondering what the FE list count is up to (Rooms). I am still undecided. We did it last time and it was a blast!!! I just find myself so busy this time of year and up until recently not sure on luggage availability. We are now booked with SW and they have free baggage so not as much of a issue to us.

I count 16 staterooms as of 11/18.

Hi Everyone! I just found this forum but we are all ready to go on our first cruise with Disney on 2/2!! It will be Me (28) Hubby (27) DD (7) DD (1) and DS (3), my darling mother who is coming to be the "nanny" as well as we have an exchange student from China who will be coming as well and she is 15. Would love to meet some families who have children similar in age so we can have TONS of fun on the trip!!!

Hi all. This will be our third Disney Cruise and the first on the Fantasy.
Me 44, DW 41 and DD 7 (8 in March). We have done both the Eastern and Western cruises and are really looking forwarded to seeing the Fantasy as its getting rave reviews.

Our DD is wondering if anyone would like to do a penpal with her. She would like to get to know some of the girls before the cruise as she is an only child and loves to have others to hang with on the ship.

Also, what is an FE?

An FE, or "Fish Extender", is something you hang under the fish (or seahorse) outside your stateroom door. It's generally an 8 or 9-inch-wide cloth with 2 or 3 pockets.

The FE Exchange is a gift exchange in which each participating stateroom gives a small gift to every other participating stateroom. Gifts tend to vary, but typically represent one's hometown or the cruise or some event associated with the cruise. There's lots and lots of information on these boards about FEs and FE exchanges.

The exchanges themselves are more or less done in secret (you can attach your name and/or stateroom number, but there's no obligation). Half the fun is coming back to your stateroom to discover that the FE Fairy has visited yet again!
