Fantastic offsite restaurant 6 mi. from DL

When we were in California earlier this month we were looking for a place to eat where we could use our coupon from the Orange County Entertainment book. We were lucky enough to find Johnny Rebs (2940 Chapman Ave., Orange).

I've never been to a restaurant where the people were more friendly and tried harder to make sure their customers left pleased. We used our "buy 1 get 1 free" coupon and after taking off the price of one of the meals they gave the coupon back and said to come see them again. So we went again the very next night and took my BIL & SIL's family, who were vacationing with us. They had a coupon book too so they used their coupon for one free meal. There was some minor mix up in the kitchen with their order so they gave them BOTH their adult meals free and only had to pay for the kids meal.

These people were incredibly nice and the food makes my mouth water just thinking about it now. I am curious to know if any of the California locals ever eat here and what they think. Its east on Chapman where it intersects with Harbor. Very easy to find on the right hand side of the road and if you have a car well worth a trip there. They even have unlimited refills on the side dishes - get the cole slaw - heavenly!!!

Used to eat there as a kid growing up in Long Beach. Great place. I'll have to remember this for our next trip.
