We are going to Disney in Oct.
and I have a question about the Fantasmic show. In the past we always did the dinner/show. But when I made my dinner reservations for Chef Mickey, they told me I had to call in a month to make the dinner/show reservation for Fantasmic
Okay, so I waited a month, then when I did call they were all booked up for the dinner/show!
. They had nothing open for not even a dinner at Hollywood and Vine, Brown Derby or Mam Rosatis! So I called back a half hour later to tlak to someone else and they got me in to the 50 Nifty but we would have to wait in line for the Fantasmic show. Now our ressies are for 6:35 and the show is at 8. I plan on getting to the restaurant early in case they can take us early. How long would we have to wait in line for Fantasmic? They told me between an hour and an hour and half! Could I send my DH in line and have him wait and save us seats? Or do we all have to walk in together? Help!

aw: I've never had to queue as such but normally we go in about 45-60 mins before the show, that way we can more or less choose our position in the amphitheatre.I've yet to see anyone turned away but the later you are ,the less choice there is & if there is a few of you then the less likely you will all get sat together. if your Ressies are at 6:35 ,I would say that you're probably looking at 60 mins from being seated to paying the bill....I think that you're cutting it a bit fine...You could send DH ahead early but he would hardly be enjoying his meal!
If the whole point of the Ressies was to get seating in the Amphitheatre, then I would probably cancel & either eat earlier at the Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time or choose counter service.
