What time do you suggest I start staking out a place for Fantasmic during a July visit??? What can you bring to put down to reserve an area for your group, i.e. blanket, towel, etc. Where are the best places to sit and see it??

If you stand right in front of Pirates of the Carribean and face the Rivers of America and walk straight down to the railing by the water that's the best area. As for lining up in July they have 2-3 shows a night and for the first show I have seen people line up several hours before the show to stake a place. I would try to see the second show because it is usually less crowded because everyone tried to pack into the first show.
