Hello everyone. I'm looking for advice and tips on Fantasmic. My mom will be in a wheelchair, and there are 8 of us in our party. I'm trying to decide if I should get a dining package, or if we should just pull a fast pass and go to the disability section. If we all go to the disability section, will they let all of us be with my mom, and can we sit in that section? If we all can be with her and sit, I think we will just do that. If not, we will probably do Blue Bayou.
I tried to search threads, but couldn't find my answer. I love everyone's helpful tips!

As far as I can remember from when I did the Blue Bayou dining package back in 2015, the wheelchair / ECV area was at the back of the dining section area. The had the wheelchairs / ECVs in a line, side by side.

I was in the disability section close to Haunted Mansion Sunday night. Any bench seating in that handicap section is intended for guests with disabilities that are not using wheelchairs and scooters. The space between the benches and the water are for chairs and scooters. The area behind the benches is for the parties of the guests with the disabilities. You can sit on the ground in that area but your view would be blocked by the chairs, scooters and disabled sitting on the benches. If you want a clear view while seated the reserved dinning sections would be your best bet.

dsny1mom is right. You won't be allowed to sit. The benches are for disabled guests. You would need to stand in the area behind your mom. They also usually limit the party size to 6, including the disabled person, so 2 of you would need to be in a regular area.
