Fantasmic timing question

Each time we've done Fantasmic in the past, it's been part of a dinner package. For our upcoming trip, they'd have us eating at 4:00 if we want the package! That's just way too early for us.
By what time do we need to get to the Fantasmic area for seating before it begins? (for the 9:00 show)We'll be there May 16 - 23.

Sorry I do not have an answer to your question -0 I do have a question though - withg the dinner package... what time can you show up for the fireworks? Is it an OK view? etc

We always do the Fantasmic package, and have never done Fantasmic without it, so I'm afraid I can't help you with general seating timing. However, one thing you should know is that it's always the case that at 90 days out, only 4:00 or 4:30 PS's are open for dinner on the package. Then about 30 days out or so, they open up later times (I have no idea why, but it's happened the past 3-4 times and others have posted the same experience). So, you can book an early time now and try to switch later or just wait a bit and keep checking back for later times. As far as seating on the package, my experience has been (though it seems you're going at a busier time in May; we go in early May) that if you're on the package, showing up at Oscar's with the Fantasmic dinner package ticket about 1/2-hour before is plenty.
