Fantasmic times in December

Looking at the projected times, it looks like the Studios will be open until 7pm while we are there (week of 12/10 - 12/19). With a 7pm close, what time will Fantasmic begin? I'm guessing that there might just be one showing - am I right?

Just a side note - it seems like there are many, many posts about visiting in December. You could assume then that it will be quite crowded in early to mid-December. Or does it just mean that we are all very enlightened on this board, and we are choosing what is typically a good time to go based on low crowds and extra events, and that far more people either aren't aware of this, or just can't get away at that time? I hope it is the latter.

It was at 7 PM last year when the parks closed at the same time. My Times Guide does show for the week of the 13th that it was at 6 pm on Friday night.

Fantasmic will typically start at 6:30 for a 7:00 close, as the end of the day show.

Early December (the first two weeks) are still low attendance, but the second two weeks are much more crowded, building from the 14th on. Go early to the parks, be willing to get into the Christmas spirit, and all will be well!

I think the lots of posts are partly the popularity of doing Disney at Christmas time, and partly becuase we are an enlightened bunch who want to make the most of every moment.

Early December is a great time to visit. Which is why so many here choose that time. The really big holiday crowds start about December 20, when schools start letting out for Winter Break. The week between Christmas and New Year's is a total zoo. So yes, you're enlightened!

In 2002, the last time Osbourne Lights were shown, Fantasmic was at 6:00pm so that people would have time to see the lights after.

We were there last year and with no Osborne Lights, the studio's closed at 7pm. I was hoping that the hours would be extended for viewing the lights.
