I thought about making a reservation at river belle to hold one. I remember last time just asking while there for the fantasmic package. Looking at times its either brunch or dinner now. I remember doing this for lunch though? Not sure if it'll work similarly for a brunch/dinner menu change.

So last time they offered the dining packages River Belle was only open for lunch and dinner. If you did the lunch dinner package you got the early Fantasmic show and if you did dinner you got the late show.

Now River Belle offers brunch and dinner instead of lunch and dinner. I assume it will work similarly with brunch getting you the late show.

That is, of course assuming 1) Disney will offer dining packages and 2) River Belle will be one of the locations. I would think yes since River Belle is one of the least in-demand restaurants in the park and offering a dining package would get bodies in the door.

I went ahead and made a reservation just in case. My dates of going is early June so a couple weeks after the reopening. I can always cancel if they offer a different package. Would love a hungry bear to go package as we aren't much in to TS there. But I guess its a wait and see.

This is what I did. I have an 11am brunch reservation for river bell for opening night of Fantasmic. Still waiting on any news...

Wish they would limit it to ONE hour instead of TWO.

Why can they not use virtual queue? Are we seriously going way back to the old days? How are they going to stop people from camping out longer than 2 hours before?

Given the ticket offer and this standby language, they are clearly trying to get local non-MK holders to come visit with the enticement of Fantasmic. Not many out of town folks are going to camp out for 2+ hours.

Yes, it was so hard to control when they use to do this. Also for any of us wanting to ride Pirates at 7:30 - good luck walking around or parking a stroller!

I really don't understand why they don't at all. Do a VQ and limit it to ONE HOUR for grabbing your spot.

Yes this is so odd to me.

I think we will see dining plans offered opening night, but not announced before hand. Like a sign at the restaurant offering it. Gonna continue to hold on to my river bell reservation.

Can someone remind me of the seating/ground seating in the past if you did the package via Riverbelle? We did the BB package in the past, and I remember that was sitting on the ground? I think? I missed my 60 day window for this trip because I was waiting on my DDs schedules, so now I can't get BB (even stalking it and having dining alerts set up).

All the seating is on the ground or standing behind the seated section. UNLESS you did the premium dining at Riverbelle, where you will be seated on the patio for your meal & Fantasmic viewing. It is not the greatest view but it sure is nice to have a seat. Way back when you would be able to nab seating here for the show, no dining package necessary.

We still have our F! BB cushions. If I have my camera with me at the parks, then I usually have that cushion attached to my camera bag. Makes it a lot easier to sit or kneel for long picture taking. I usually take it to D23 Expo too. Made the concrete floors in the basement more bearable in the past.

have to say, Honda center experience with assigned seating will be so much better this year -- I hope the atmosphere will be just as electric. It's a lot bigger setting!

Glad I found this thread...we decided to throw together a last minute trip for end of June and didn't see any fantasmic dining packages...now I know they don't exist yet!

just happened to get my alert from Mouse Dining because I wanted to eat at Blue Bayou this trip in June, and realized they must have opened it up for fantasmic dining! Sure enough, that’s what it was. Hurry! Only one place so far included.

$89 for lunch and dinner.
