If you’re wanting to be further back and still have a good sightline, then you don’t need to wait *super* early for a railing spot - just scope it out when you get there and make sure you’re behind a short group! If you space out left-to-right, even if people shift, you should be able to find spots where your kids can see.Thank you all. This is super helpful. We do have reservations for the premium river Belle seats as well so I’m thinking of keeping those to avoid both the mist and the potential for someone tall to be in front of us and then trying to move closer to the water before the fireworks since it sounds like the view from the terrace is obstructed by trees.
The mist really depends on wind direction and overall weather conditions - you can be perfectly dry at the railing or quite misty a few rows back.
