Fantasmic schedule

Just curious, I have fantasmic dinner package for 4PM on Friday 1/6. MGM is open until 8PM, but the CM on the phone said Fantasmic shows at 7PM. Does this sound right to you, I always thought that the fireworks shows started at park closing time.....

Fantasmic! Is weird like that sometimes... Sometimes it is before park closing, sometimes it is at park closing and even sometimes it is a half an hour after park closing. On the night you are there though she is correct, it is scheduled for 7pm with park closing at 8pm.

Fantasmic is my favorite show and the week that I am visiting, it is also at 7 PM and the park closes at 8 PM. FYI, Fantasmic IS NOT a fireworks show but it is definitely not to be missed. Even get there about a half hour to an hour early to get good seating (in a big amphitheatre)... it is an amazing show! I believe it is about 35 minutes long so I guess with the park closing an hour after, it should give everyone adequate time to get out.
