This is my very first time posting on here, I will say that I've been a lurker for quite some time absorbing all the wonderful advise! So, I'm again hoping for some words of wisdom. :worship:

I am trying to put all my ADRs in place for our December trip and as usual Fantasmic! is giving me problems. There is a showing on Dec 18 (Sunday), but it also has evening EMH. There is a another showing on Dec 20 (Tuesday). I really want to go on Tuesday and want the dining package :cheer2:, but we all know how hard it is to get the package.

My question is should I try and attempt to get the package on a Sunday if I can't get a Tuesday package or should I just brave the lines on Tuesday :confused3?

The park will be more busy on a F! day with EMH then the F! alone. If you call 180+10 days out, I don't think you will have a problem getting it for the Tuesday if you are open minded when it comes to meal time and restaurant and if yo ucall first thing when the phone lines open in the morning.

You can also book it online at 6am ... at least you're SUPPOSED to be able to! It's been quirky as of late. If you can't book it online, definitely call right at 7am, like 3pletprincesses said :)

to do the Fantasmic package about a month after our 180 day. I chose Mama Melrose and was able to get a 4:15 PM dinner package. This is for late June so a fairly busy season. I checked the online system every once in awhile and eventually found a 4:45 PM time slot. I have checked since then hoping for a 5:00 PM but no luck.

There were times available as late as 60 days before the date I was looking for. You will probably be able to get your Tuesday package. I agree with the PP that DHS will be a little less crowded without the EMH.

I have decided to forget about Sunday and go for Tuesday. If I can't get the F! pkg then we will just wait in line or not go at all.

I know it seems like a lot of hassle but it is definitely worth it for the show. I think it was the highlight of our last trip! We were there in mid-May and there were plenty of seats left when we arrived 30 minutes prior to the show.

We had a Fantasmic! dinner package at H&V and booked at the 180 mark with no problem getting the time I wanted (5:00pm). H&V has been getting some bad reviews on this board, so I'm wondering if that had anything to do with the ease of our ressies. I will say that I thought the buffet was pretty good! Maybe we went in thinking it would be just awful, but everything our family ate was great! Not to mention, F! was the highlight of my trip too! What an excellent way to end our vacation! (DHS was the park we did on our last day!)

I started with H & V, heard the bad reviews and switched to Brown Derby. I booked in March for the first week in July, then made the change to Brown Derby in May. I had no problem with ADR at 4:45. And I would assume the first week of July is busy. You'll be fine. If you can't get want you want, keep checking, people book and change all the time.

F! dining package...is it 2 TS for all restaurants? I thought it was, but is that only for Brown Derby? Because isn't BD 2 TS anyway? Thanks!
