Fantasmic questions

If the studios close at 8 p.m., how is it that they have a Fantasmic showing at 8:30? And also, is there any tips, tricks, ect on how to leave after the show in the quickest, most efficient way to board a Disney bus? Thanks.

Not sure on the times but I noticed that the week we are there too. As far as leaving the quickest I'd be there super early so you can sit all the way to the right and towards the top. The further in you get the bigger crowd you'll be stuck in.

Guests can get in line for any attraction until 8:00 PM.

Fantasmic! will be the only thing "open" after 8:00 PM.

Guests must enter the Park BY 8:00 PM for the 8:30 F!.

It's a typical schedule for DHS. Guests can ride rides until the park closes and then see one last show.

If you entered standby and not Fp+, you can sit at the very top of one of the right seating sections of the amphitheater. This will give you an easy exit to leave via the far right exit.

As the PP have said, having the Fantasmic show just after closing is not uncommon. I think they do it to help distribute the bus loads (i.e., one pulse at closing and another after Fantasmic ends). In terms of the buses, I agree that the "best" option is going to be sit as far back and as close to the exit as possible. As soon as the show ends, head out to be ahead of the crowd. From there, just head to the bus stops like normal. In my experience, while the crowds will be heavy after the show ends, it's not like folks are lingering. There really isn't anything to do or see, so people do head out at a fairly good/normal pace. So even if you're stuck int he middle of the crowd exiting the theater, it isn't going to add a huge amount of time to get back to the bus stops. The lines at the buses are a different story...
