1. Can you RESERVE seats for Fantasmic in advance by calling Disney and purchasing them? I'm not interested in going to Guest Services bright and early.
2. Are the seats worth it? Do you really have a good view?
3. Do you compete with other people who have paid for the reserved seating? Or is basically every seat "the same"?

Last summer, there was 2 types of reserved seats for the show. I believe the cost was 45.00 for the balcony and 35.00 for bleachers on the ground near the HM. The balcony of the gallery or course has the best seats and an all you care to eat dessert buffet. The bleachers have a dessert box or ice cream sundae for the kids.

Yes you can Reserve seats in advance. 30 days in advance. You will have to pick up your tickets, I think at Guest Services before the show. If you stay at a DLR property, they will send them to the front desk for you. I think you can pick up the tickets a day in advance, but I'm not positive of that.

From what everyone has said, the price is worth it. I haven't been luckly enough to be there when F! has been showing, but one day I will and I will be in the balcony.

You do have to "compete" with others for front row seats, which of course are the best, but I haven't heard anyone complain if they sat in the back row. Most recommend 60-75 minutes before the show, line up in the gallery.

Well, I hope your not visiting anytime soon since Fantasmic is down for a few months (April maybe??) .

But you can either sit down by HM or the balcony and the seats are issued on a first come, first serve basis when you call to reserve the seats. Both areas are $45 (we sat down by the HM in Nov.). There are not bleachers that you sit in, you have your own seat but it is cramped.

Also, when you sit in the balcony you get a dessert buffet, by the HM you get a keepsake box with your desserts in it.

It kind of sucked sitting by the HM. I'm only 5'0 and I had taller people sitting in front of me so I couldn't see very well. Those seats are first come, first serve, so the earlier you get in line the better. Unfortunately we didn't know that so we had to settle otherwise we would have sat all the way to the right in the front.
