I know that the line for Fantasmic can be well over an hour wait to get in the theater..is this true even in value season? We're going mid-September and I'm debating on whether or not I should mess with a Fantasmic Dinner pkg. or just try to get in line...any thoughts?

We've used the package in February (President's week) and mid-August. We needed it in February but in August we just walked in and got a good seat about half an hour before itstarted even though we had the vouchers.

It's hard to tell--on a September weekend you might need it, weeknight maybe not. If in doubt and you really don't want to wait, get the dinner package.

Good luck!

Bob

Going in September you should be fine getting a seat 30-45 minutes before showtime. It's really only during holidays and summer that you need to get there about an hour or more before showtime.

Yes, we went in January and you can still get a good seat about 15 minutes during the show. We did.

We are planning on going Monday May 22nd. The Studios close at 9:00 p.m. that night and there is only one showing of Fantasmic. Realistically how soon would you recommend we get in line? I would really like to try to ride some of the rides as last as possible up until we have to go sit in the theater :earboy2:

I would get there about 30-45 minutes before showtime. You could get in in you came later but you might not get great seats (either off to a side or high up).
