If I recall, during the summer, if there are two showings of F!, it's at 9:00 and 10:30. I can see on the calendar through Friday, 6/13, that the time is listed as 9:00 (and I know they can add a second show later), but starting on Saturday, 6/14, the showtime switches to 9:30. Will they not have a second show beginning with that date then? I would imagine they need to be spaced 90 minutes apart which would put the second show at 11pm -- would they do it that late or does it just go down to one show a night at that point?

I think you're thinking of it wrong. If they do two shows, they do one during regular park hours and then one 30 minutes after scheduled close

So, if they add an additional show, the schedule would be 8pm and 9:30pm.

At least, that's my memory from the last time I visited with a double fantasmic day.

Thanks, -- in the summer, 8:00 isn't dark enough, so it wouldn't be that early.

I've been checking Fantasmic showtimes recently because we're going during MDW. It seems like most of May had 2 shows added on weekends (Fri, Sat and sometimes Sun) but weirdly still just one show listed for all of MDW. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I guess they're monitoring expected crowds and just adding the extra shows as needed but it seems odd. Hopefully it means MDW won't be too bad!!

Looking back at last year’s sched on touring plans, odds are one show a night. Only some early June dates got 2 Fantasmic shows.
Thanks! I figured that might be the case with them moving it from 9:00 to 9:30. I wonder why, though? Were the crowds less during that time (which I wouldn't mind)? I no longer have a TP subscription so I can't see the historical crowd info.

Summer is a slow time at WDW. BUT- don’t expect it to necessarily “feel” slow. Disney tends to lower capacity by reducing CM headcount in ways we don’t really notice so it can still feel normal crowded.
