Fantasmic question

Hi! So I heard that they've started the Star Wars fireworks at DHS. Does this take the place of Fantasmic all together or do they do both still? I have a Fantasmic dining package ADR for November so I'm just confused if this will actually be for the Star Wars fireworks or what? I've never seen Fantasmic so I'd really like to experience it on our trip. Thanks!

Fantasmic is in the arena over by Tower of Terror. Star Wars fireworks are done by the Chinese theater in the middle of the park.

And since you said you have a dining package for Fantasmic, just as an early suggestion..I strongly recommend you show up 45min-1 hour prior to showtime to get first dibs on seats. FP and dining package to Fantasmic does not guarantee you have a seat 5 min before showtime. If there's enough people still coming in, about 10-15 min before showtime they usually open up all areas to incoming guests. Just a heads up for you since you said you haven't seen Fantasmic yet. Don't want you showing up minutes before showtime and realizing the section is full.
