Fantasmic Question

I'm going to DL later this year and was reading about Fantasmic. I learned that guests can watch Fantasmic from preferred seating and enjoy a great dessert buffet. Has anyone experienced this? Is it worth the money? How would I sign up to attend this myself - where in the park do I pay for tix to attend this??

I believe it is still $59 per person. You'll want to call Disney dining 30 days before your trip. Sorry, I'm too lazy to look up the phone number for you, but its easy to find on the disney site or on this site. You'll need a credit card number to make the reservation, and it is nonrefundable unless they cancel the show that night. As for worth, that is different for everyone. Personally, I would rather just see the 2nd show and not pay. Other people find it is well worth the cost.

Oh, and its now a box of treats, not a dessert buffet.

From what Ive seen it very limited seating. There are mixed reviews on weather its worth the money or not.

I recently experienced the Premium seating. I had some complaints about the check-in process (the check-in time recently changed all CMs are not on board with the new time, nor is the correct time printed on the tickets) and our seats were in between the two water screens so they weren't the 'best' seats but good seats. However, all that said, it was the highlight experience of the trip for the rest of my family so I would have to say it was worth it. Most of the pain is for the person who lines up to get the seats at check-in.

I also thought the dessert box was quite good and it was nice to be able to take your 'leftovers' back - we feasted on these for the rest of the trip and still didn't finish our boxes! The cheese and crackers with the grapes made for a great breakfast!
