What has happened to the story behind Fantasmic? There use to be a voice over saying mickey was dreaming and the villians went into his dreams etc. Watching the show now what is the point of the whole thing without the voice over??

We were just there this January/early Feb. '06 and the female VO started the shows when we watched. I have it on video tape.

But the show does not REQUIRE a VO setup to be enjoyed.

The original show at Disneyland did not have a VO setup.
It just started with the "building musical chord" and the lighting effects.

Thanks but that wasn't my point. This post isn't saying that fantasmic is now somhow less enjoyable but What happened to the whole story that went along with the show????

But that is exactly what you said.

Watching the show now what is the point of the whole thing without the voice over??

And what I said was:

A. the VO was THERE recently (don't know if you just missed it or it did not play that night for some reason).

B. the show does not NEED the VO to be enjoyed because it was designed to run without one from the very beginning
