Fantasmic Premium Seating

I've reserved the Fantasmic Premium Seating for our upcoming trip. I would have liked the balcony seating but I was told that this wasn't being offered in August - is that correct?

Anyway, what is the best way of getting front row seats in the premium section? If we arrive an hour and a half early to "check-in" do we then have to sit and wait for the show to start or can we go off and enjoy some rides and then come back again?

I'm assuming you're doing riverfront seating. When we did this, we found we could check in earlier than they said we could, by about a half an hour. We weren't even the first people on the list by that time. We were second though, and they take you in the order you check in. After you check in, you can go away for a while, but they will tell you, if you aren't back for the final check in name call, you will lose your seating. We just hung around because I didn't want to take the chance of missing my time by being stuck on a ride.

You can check in up to 2 hours early, and you do not have to stay there. We just went last week, and I would recommend going at 7pm and checking in. It is at that time you pick your seats off the seating chart. Get ones in front; but if you don't they are all good. There are 3 mist screens and everything else goes past left to right.

After you check in, you can come back minutes before the show if you choose!!!
