Fantasmic Packages?!?!?!?

We are going in September and I have made all my dining reservations. We booked Mama Melroses the one night, and were asked if we wanted the package and i said yes after asking her (the cm on phone) if you would be able to choose from the regular menu or if it would be a "package" menu. She told me at that time you will be able to choose from anything on the menu. My friend called to make her dining reservations today and the cm she had said that its a fixed menu where you get soup/ salad, pick your entree and then tiramisu for dessert. If anyone knows for sure I would like to know, cause ill change the fantasmic package to the night we are eating at hollywood and vine.

According to allears, the rumblings here and the CM I spoke to when I booked my MM FP, you can now order from the regular menu. We had the fixed menu meal there last year and it was great, but I'm looking forward to choosing my own appetizer this year!

Many people on these boards have reported getting a choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert there.

Last year, we went in July. At that time, the Fantasmic package was a mixed salad served family style, a flatbread pizza for every four people, your choice of entree, and your choice of dessert (no limitations on dessert though the menu at allears last year did say you had to have tiramisu--and that just was not our experience).

Now, the flatbread pizzas have become entrees on the menu, so you apparently can't get one of those as your appetizer, but you do have your choice of any other appetizers...that's what I understand anyway.

Either way, the food was really good, and we're going back again for the package.

We were able to choose whatever entree's, apps & desserts we wanted. Have never had to pick specifics at any restaurant (been to all 3)

I'm glad to hear that you can pick! I booked this package too but I didn't realize you weren't supposed to pick and DH was really craving calamari. I was going to cancel but now I'll keep it!
