Fantasmic package rip-off

We did the fantasmic package about a week ago and felt it was definitely not worth the money. The food part was fine but the seats at fantasmic were not that great. We got there about 8:15. The whole reserved area was packed and we ended up on the far right area, almost on the right most edge. Some people in our area were complaining because many people who were not using the package went over the rope and filled in that area right next to the rope, forcing the package people over into the far right area. I guess some of the pkg guests were complaining to the cast members but they said there was nothing they could do, that there is no way to know who had the package and who didnt. So they couldnt ask anyone to move. We ended up scrunched in our cruddy seats for 45 minutes waiting for the show. I really didnt think the show was that great, not worth the wait or the uncomfortable seats. We did it on an Extra Hour Night and the park was packed. Waits for rides were really long, so we just left. In fact it was so crowded it was hard to walk. We avoided the extra magic hour evening parks from then on.

Good to know, we will be there on an evening with EMH as well, and we planning on doing most things after the show, I guess we'll be waiting in a lot of lines then...

Just thought I'd throw this in because it may have contributed to the circumstance. We had the FDP on Aug 13 and it rained the majority of the night. We stayed and the show went on through the mist, but the theatre was not full. This may have contributed to higher attendance that night. They said they wouldn't honor FDP passes the next night (that's why we stayed) but maybe they decided to. Also wasn't this EMH night? That may have played into the crowd level...
