fantasmic package reservations

Hey everyone- I'm sure this has been answered before, but would some kind soul be willing to answer it again? I read somewhere online that you can make fantasmic dinner package reservations 180 days out, unlike the 90 day ADR policy for other restaurants. Is this true? Thanks!

OOh I don't know but Im glad I read your post as I want to reserve the fantasmic for Sept I will have to check with my TA and I will check back and see if you got an answer and let you know. I see you live in CT so do I but I live closer to Hartford but my husband works in Waterford I will get back to you soon

No.

No. Only on the nights when there are showings of Fantasmic!

Ok I just heard back from my TA she said its 90 days out for all reservations for food so I am glad I asked as I also want to go to that my inlaws are going this year and have never seen it, so hopefully no rain while we are there in Sept so we can go and enjoy it.can you tell I am excited to go

Definitely check to see if Fantasmic is playing while you are there. I just found out that it is NOT during the time my BFF is coming in May and it is the one thing she really wanted to see.

If you are staying in a Disney resort you can do it 90+10. But hope and pray that it is playing when you are there. It is only showing 3x during our weeklong stay in July and I got a dinner package at Hollywood and Vine for one of those nights.

You can make ADRs 90 days prior to check-in; at that time you can make ADRs for the first 10 days of your stay. We have done the FDP a couple of times in the past; there is a seating section that is held for people with vouchers from their restaurant, but you still should arrive early (60 minutes or better). Also be aware that this is not a rain or shine show; last October we had dinner at Brown Derby (FDP) and went to Hollywood Hills Amphitheater to wait for showtime which was 7:30. At precisely 7:30 the skies opened up and it poured rain - show cancelled. Bummer!
