Hi all! I'm a bit confused and hope you can help me out. I have the Fantasmic package at the Hollywood Brown Derby for our trip next month when we are on the deluxe dining plan. Everything I read says that it includes an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink, but will it include an appetizer as well since we are on the deluxe plan? And will we be able to select from the entire menu or is a special menu for Fantasmic packages? And last question...I am trying to put together a loose budget for tips. Is the bill based on what we choose, like it would be at other restaurants or is it the set price that I've seen posted ($56.99 adults, $16.99 kids)? I'm trying to decide whether to use credits or pay OOP for the kids because their kids meals are actually pretty reasonably priced on the menu (and not worth the two credits each IMO), but may want to use them if it's the package price. Any thoughts on that?! (My kids would probably eat the $6 grilled cheese.) Thanks for your help!

The Fantasmic Dining Package includes an appetizer per person regardless of whether you are on the DxDDP or the regular DDP. You choose from the regular menu.

The Dining Package is a set price if paying OOP or 2 credits per person if using the dining plan.

Can I piggyback on this question? WE usualy get the package at Mama Melrose which is 1 credit. If we have DxDDP, can we ask for a dessert and not that nasty preplated thing? I am in the process of planning our December trip, and even though we have not yet decided if we want to see Fantasmic this time, I need to be prepared to book the package. I like to get the bulk of my ADR's in place at 180 days out, and then I tweak as we firm up plans.

It doesn't matter how you are paying for the F! package. You will get the F! package which includes the plate of desserts and nothing else. You can pay OOP for a different dessert if you wish.

You will pay the set price, no matter what they eat, but your prices are off just a little. It is $69.23 for adults and $23.43 for kids (price includes tax).

Thanks Sharonabe!

If you ordered kids meals without paying for the F! package- however you pay for it credits or OOP- you won't have F! tickets for your kids.

Thank you all! Very helpful information! I will definately do the package for the kids and likely just use credits. One more question, I have a 2 1/2 year old too who is "free" for dining purposes. Will they let me order a $6 grilled cheese for her off the menu or will I need to pay the $23.43 package price for her? She won't have a ticket since she's under 3 so I'm guessing she won't need a Fantasmic voucher???

You should be fine to order your 2 1/2 year old anything she wants OOP. Kids under 3 don't have to have park tickets or FP so shouldn't need the F! pass either.
