Fantasmic Package and Cancellations

We we're hoping to get a later seating for the Fantasmic package at the Brown Derby on Thanksgiving. All they had available was 4:20, which is just too early for us. What's everyone's experience with cancellations for the package as we get closer to the date? Will the holiday make this less of a possibility?

Go ahead and lock in your ADR. Then about 3 weeks before your date, start calling and requesting later times. They open later times closer to the date. We had the same problem with our ADR (3:40pm) for FDP in two weeks. I called about a week ago and got 6pm. They had them as late as 6:30pm. Found out about this thru the DIS! Hope it works for you!
