We will be there Oct 25-Nov 1st. I am not sure which we want to plunk down a big sum of money on and only can do one or the other.

HELP? Those who have done them pro's con's thoughts?

Thanks so much, Kat.

My vote would be Fantasmic at Blue Bayou. I prefer it to WOC.

WoC is amazing! Such a nice tribute to Walt. We did it in June and loved it!

I think WoC..it's pretty unique, and it's really beautiful! I would do it at Carthay Circle for lunch- they have really great options there.
You could check allears.net for menu's of the places that offer each and see which you like best. There's also Wine Country Trattoria for WoC, and Blue Bayou and River Belle Terrace for Fantasmic

We did both last week...Blue Bayou for F! and Carthay Circle for WOC. They were both great! However if I had to pick one, I think the best value is for Fantasmic! Those seats are great and you can show up 30 minutes before showtime. World of Color you are still behind people and need to get there early if you want a rail spot.

We did the same 2 this past week also. Just got back to Orlando early this morning. I definitely liked the Blue Bayou the best. Both shows were good but our WoC shut down in the middle. Had to wait for about 10 minutes for them to get it started again. Make sure you see them both even if you can book only 1 package. They give you a nice cushion to sit on for the Fantasmic show.

I just did both and my vote is F! because you get to watch it while sitting down and you also watch the Disneyland Forever fireworks a few minutes after F. I did the RBT dinner package and sat down in the same section as BB diners. I brought my own self-inflating cushion so it wasn't uncomfortable sitting there for a long time.

Thank you all. Now I am wondering about doing both! :confused3

I have never been to DL so we want all we can get and it will be our 10th anniversary.
Is F still playing on MHP nights? Seems impossible to get it all in.

No, Fantasmic does not play on MHP nights. So looks like only Saturdays and Sundays once the MHPs start. Sadly we are going to miss Fantasmic on our upcoming trip due to a MHP on a Friday night (we are leaving Saturday mid-day (10/03)).

If you can swing both then do it, BB is a unique experience, and Carthay Circle must be one of the best theme park restaurants anywhere.
