Fantasmic or Star Wars Fireworks??

Heading to Orlando in a couple months for a school trip. DH and I are taking 6 teenagers (3 boys and 3 girls, ages 17-18) and only spending 2 days at WDW. One day at MK and one day at HS.

The big question for my HS day planning- Fantasmic or Fireworks? I'd love to see both, but I know by the time Fantasmic lets out we would have terrible fireworks viewing. I personally love Fantasmic as it includes so many characters, songs, fireworks, etc. but I have never seen the fireworks. Are they THAT good? We are planning to see Wishes at MK so it won't be like the kids will be missing out on Disney fireworks.

Open to any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks!

I guess I should've clarified lol. What would be a better experience for the teens?

Better experience for teens would be the Star Wars show IF they are Star Wars fans.

We usually watch Fantasmic and Wishes every trip, this past trip we watched the Star Wars show for the first time. Every time now in the near future if we have to choose it'll be the Star Wars show over Fantasmic.

Why don't you let the kids decide? Is there any reason you all need to stay together?
I would let everyone go to the one they prefer then meet up afterwards.

That's dependent on the start-times of the shows during your trip,
and (along that same line) on whether F! offers a second performance.
