Fantasmic! Is a 6:30pm PS too late to get a good seat?

Hi,
I posted this question on the dining board but I also thought I would put it here just in case I made a PS for 6:30 pm at Mama Melrose at the 60 day mark for Sat., April 12. The calendar of events shows Fantasmic! showing at 8:30 and 10pm (which is too late for us). For those of you who have done MM, do you think we will be able to eat at 6:30 and still get a good seat for the show? Or, should I switch it to 4:10 (the only time they had left just now)? Thanks for your help! Oh, I forgot we did not want to request the Fantasmic! Package- too much $ for us- we just want to eat a small dinner ( flatbread pizza, etc.)

For a good seat get there at least one hour before the show starts as it fills up very fast.

I think you would be cutting it pretty close. I would try and make it for 6:00 (or even 5:45). As J&J says, you need to get there fairly early for a good seat.

I think that would only work if you're doing the dinner package.

Don't think that would work at all. Even with a dinner package you would need that much time just to eat and walk over to a reserved seat. You could get lucky but if your really want to see the show I would go with a 4:10 Ps time or eat elsewhere sometime in between those two times.I understand about the package. We loved it before the change but this time I think we are going to forgo the package and grab some counter service food and eat while we wait for the show.

When we made PS for the dinner package we were told if we would have enough time to eat and make the show. We are also not using the package again since the change. If not using the package definitely plan on being there at least an hour ahead of showtime.
