Just came back from Disneyland and wanted to share some info on Fantasmic show. I didn't go to the show myself, but my kids loved it. Here is the scope, first to buy the ticket, you can call the main DINE reservation number to order over the phone, tickets are available for purchase 30 days in advance. Tickets are not refundable once you purchase it. You may pick up the tickets anytime at the guest service window "outside" of Disneyland park's main gate. The same person with picture ID and a credit card is needed to pick up the tickets. On the day of the show, arrive at least 20 minutes early since the route will be very crowded approching the show time, also make sure you know exactly where the seat locations are since not every cast member knows about the details. Actually we asked about 5 diffrent cast member, only one of them knows about the detail, everyone else just told us the Fantasmic show is totally free and that we could just pick any spot to view it. If you go to the 1st show at 9pm, you can stay there to see the fireworks as well.

Are these for the Dessert Buffets? Where are they located?

the seats we got are for priority seating. There are about 100 seats. (or maybe more), each guest (adult or child) will get a box of chocolates and free soda drink. (or bottled water). I am not sure about the dessert buffet (on the Balcony), you maybe call the main disney Dine reservation number and ask for details. or refer to Fantasmic FAQ on this board, although some of the info listed are pretty old.

Is there a cost and can you reserve via credit card or do you pay when you get there?

I believe you have to pay when you order via phone with a credit card. They also sell the tickets at the guest service, but the tickets are usually sold out fast.

Mom-rules, they are exactly $47 each for the Dessert Buffet on the balcony. You must call 30 days in advance of when you want to go (i.e., want to see the July 30, you must call on June 30th or later) but they seating is only for appx. 20 people, so they go very fast. I've made my reservations for July 31 and paid over the phone with my credit card. The phone no. is 714-781-4400. Good luck!
