I looked through the sticky on this board, but didn't see the information I was looking for. My question is, how much extra will it be for this package with the dining plan, if anything? Also, last year we ate at Hollywood and Vine - it was terrific and we would gladly dine there again, but seeing how we are on the dining plan this time, we'd like to try the Brown Derby. This is 2 table service credits? My kids will be 6 and 9 when we go - they aren't super picky, but I'm wondering if others, with kids this age, enjoyed it. Also, can anyone tell me what other restaurants are 2 credits? I know Cindy's is, but where else? Sorry for all the questions...we've never used the dining package before, so we are learning!

TIA :)

ok, it was 1999, but my DD (14) and DS (8) LOVED Brown Derby and have requested it again this trip. We called the last trip DS's "Nuggets around the World" tour. That's all he ate no matter where we went. Well, BD does not have chicken nuggets. He was forced to order grilled chicken with smashed potatoes and a VEGETABLE!!! Horrors!!! Both he and DD (same order) licked their plates clean and tried to steal our veggies, lobbied hard for another plate too!!

I don't think the Fantasmic package costs more, but you do have to put a credit card down for it at reservation time (someone correct me if I'm wrong here). They don't charge it, it's just a hedge against no shows. When you go, they will charge the DDP (2 TS) not the credit card.

Hope this helps!

I love the HBD  ! I have been there 3 times now and each time I have an outstanding meal. I have heard the contrary a few times and not sure if it was just bad timing but Dh and I got out alot to nice restaurants in Boston and I equate the HBD to one of those. The service and food have always been above par in my ears. Hence, that Dh and I elected to go to the HBD (Fantasmic Dining package) on Valentines day :love2: .

So i give this the highest recommendation for a meal for you and your kids! party:

Hope this helps! :)
